Not every Palestinians celebrates Israeli deaths. The people who choose to do so, simply because they lost their family members and friends following Israel attacks. The Palestinian deaths, sadly, because there are militants living among them. This militants, as you already know, insist on attacking Israelis. Thus, they provoked Israeli retaliation.

Your so-called "israeli" pals did a pretty good job of "wiping" Palestine "off the map" to go by any current atlas. You clearly take the position that jews can do as they please to others and if a wronged party seeks to defend themselves then they are somehow evil. There are plenty of jews running around right now shouting "Death to the Arabs!" In fact in 2001 the "Grand Rabbi" of Occupied Jerusalem publicly called for the forced sterilization of all Arabs everywhere on earth. You can check that on BBCOnline. The fact is,you believe that human life is only human if it's jewish and your people have a god-given right to trample the rights of others at will,destroy at will and to kill at will. This is why progressives equate zionism with nazism. Are jews that rude? Oh,I think so. Ask anyone who was in Gaza City last week or Beirut in the summer of 2006. First not all Palestinians were happy and celebrating the deaths of the Israelis
Second, those who did celebrate have probably lost some of their members by the Israeli random shooting that killed about 60 innocent civilians just a few days before
Third, and most important, I have never seen Israelis demonstrating against their government (except some Jews in frace they went in a rally). Most Jews were happy with what the IDF were doing and the biggest proof are the Jews here. Most of them said the Palestinians deserve what is happening to them.

I will be happy when "israel" is wiped off the map. The name of the country is Palestine and it has been clear since 1948 that jews have no intention of dwelling peacefully amongst the Arabs.

As a Palestinian Atheist who comes from a Palestinian Christian family I can tell you the reason for our celebration is the fact that Israel refuses to end its 40 plus years of occupation of our land.
Hamas and all the rest of the Palestinian armed organizations were created AFTER Israel occupied our part of Palestine, in the same way that Hezbollah came to be AFTER Israel invaded Lebanon for a second time in 1982 and decided to occupy the south of that country for the next 18 years.
I mean, listen to me and what I just said. I read back on what I just wrote and I realize I lost my mind. That I'm actually happy about the deaths of total estrangers that in other circumstances could have been the best of friends.
But how do you keep you sanity under a ruthless military occupation that just goes on and on and on without an end in sight.
There's no timetable whatsoever for the end of it, and in the meantime my family keeps getting letters from the Israeli government telling us of their intentions to confiscate parts of our 1200 acres olive farm.
They already put a Jewish settlement next to it and when it expands they'll take whatever land they need from us.
Their sewage runs over portions of our land, and over 80 of our trees have been uprooted by them.
When my uncle went to the area where the uprooted trees were he brought with him a truck with 50 or so baby trees he wanted to plant in the same place.
Well, as he was doing this, as he placed the plants down and cover their roots with the soil, the Jewish settlers began to follow him and uprooted the baby trees!
It was a very sad sight. My uncle kept on planting the trees and these idiots would wait for him to finish and then uprooted them again, one by freaking one!
What bastards.
The whole thing was so weird because no one said a word to each other. In the end, they won. No new trees for us.
But, hey, 1200 acres of land? Eat your freaking hearts out, baby!!!

As far as Israelis celebrating the killing of innocent Palestinians you need to look no further than the monument that was built in honour of Dr. Baruch Goldstein after he massacred 29 Palestinians as they were praying in their mosque.

The only killing I saw was done by Israelis, they have been practicing that for over 60 yrs now, they killed UN people they killed children they killed women they even killed their own people...they are the leading terrorists of the world.

Israel and the western world will not rest until the Arab world is wiped off the map, no wait, let me take that back, they will not rest until all Muslims are wiped off the map (in case you didn't know, it is in fact a RELIGION, meaning that its not secluded towards one people, yes there are tons of WHITE Muslims, in fact its America's and the World's fastest growing religion, don't take this as an advertisement, as I know some of you will jump to that conclusion, I'm simply making a point, or is that to much for you to handle?), the Middle East is simply fighting back.

Oh, and you'll proabably think I'm a coward and am scared of your "truthfulness" or whatever. Well, there you go, you want to due away with me. Let me tell you something, you don't know your own history, your knowledge of it is controlled by Israel too. Oh, and I'm not talking about the history of who rightfully owns the land, which seems to be your favorite one, Oh no, I'm well aware that no people have the right to claim Isreal as their original land because people have settled in it in times long before Abraham, I'm talking far away from that subject. Best way to put it, Isreal and America, and perhaps other aquianted countries are like the stray dog leading the blind.

Whenever the PLO comprimises something with Israel, Hamas goes and messes it up so Israel attacks Palestine and the PLO stops the compromises. PLO is willing to negotiate but hamas will never stop until Israel is wiped off the map, I feel both sides can compromise. I mean Israel will never cease to exist they have quite a few Nuclear bombs and WILL use them to save their country.

Jasmine I commend you on your observation.

Even though I believe both parties could co-exist I don't see why Israel should take the sh!t that the Arabs mete out lying down.

I pray to God above to give the Israeli people the strenght and courage to do what must be done in order to keep their peoples safe.
