There is only one race and that race doesn't exist only among Israeli people. The name of that race is the human race.

Israelis come from all nationalities and ethnicities. The majority of them are Middle Eastern though, or to put it in a more accurate way, have "some" Middle Eastern in them.

Over 2 million Israelis come from Russia. Another 2 million from Poland & Germany. Around 1 million from Arab countries. Others come from Canada, America, England, Turkey, Ethiopia, India, Ukraine, etc.

By the way, Middle Eastern is not an ethnicity.

There is only one race-human, Homo sapens sapiens , a subclassification of Homo sapiens(now extinct). All ethnic groups are subclassifications under that.To be a different race, means to be a different species. As an example, Dogs and wolves are in the Canine species/race and cats and tigers are in the Feline species/race. Canine and Feline are two different races. Dogs and wolves would be like Blacks and Whites, a subclassification under the SAME species/race. and cats and tigers would be a subclassification under another species/race. Usually, to be a different species/race, organisms would have different individual numbers of chromosomes, so, generally, but not always, could NOT reproduce.Humans, cats, and dogs all different species/races.

The "Israeli" right of return grants citizenship based on someone's faith and not origin! Which means that you can be from any origin but just by converting to Judaism you can claim citizenship in zionist state! They're all Humans but not all are Jewish , just the majority
and so majority of the Israeli Jews are classified as : Ashkenazim Jews(Jews originated from Eastern Europe) , Sephardic Jews (these originated from Northern Africa & Southern Europe) & Mizrahi Jews (these originated from Arab countries & Iran) and to end up : Falashas (these from Ethiopia)

They proceed from almost every racial and ethnic group on earth,except for Asians. Jewishness is not an ethnicity. It is a religious affiliation. However most Israelis are non-religious. So they aren't actually Jews in any realistic sense. Basically,they are overwhelmingly Russian atheists.

believe me changing your school's project would be the best thing to do. Just have a look at the Israelis themselves they even don't know what they are. Simply they are just a nomad gypsies, specially the guys from the middle east.

About 3/4 of Israelis are Jewish (yes, that is an ethnicity)...
The second largest group are arabs which make up about 20% of the population. The rest are foreigners.

It is traditional for Jews to marry Jews, and the vast majority of Jews are ethnic Jews with middle eastern blood lines from the patriarchs, even if people convert to Judaism and dilute the bloodline- there children will probably marry a 'more jewish' jew. It is quite simple to understand really.

@pict Semetic also refers to descendants of Shem, who is the father of Jews, arabs, persians and so on. And no, most ashkenazim are not descend for Khazar's, but from Jewish settlers who moved to central europe over 1000 years ago and they do in fact have direct lineage to abraham, isaac and jacob. And of course, they are semetic and the majority of Jews most certainly are semetic.
The myth that ashkenazi jews are khazars is pitiful anti-zionist propaganda that has been shattered by modern science (genetix my friend), although there are Khazar jews.

And when people say 'ashkenazis originated from europe' and 'sepharadis originated in spain' imply that those jews do not have Jewish ancestry - which of course they do.

Israel is a country. If you are referring to Jews as a race, that too is incorrect. The Jewish religion incorporates many races. You can be born into a Jewish family, or you can convert to Judaism.
Many people who are or were self proclaimed haters of Jews attempted to categorize them as a race. Hitler called the Jews a race and had many people who were not Jewish by any measure killed as Jews which had mislabel them to have them executed or imprisoned in the concentration camps.
The term antisemitic was termed to refer to hatred of Jews. Many people misinterpret that as referring to a race of Middle Eastern peoples including Muslim and Christian peoples of the Middle East.
Israel is no more a race than the United States is a race.
Israel comprises many ethnicities and races. Israel is not a single race and neither is the Jewish religion comprised of a single race.

This is not true. 800,000 are immigrants from Russia and the rest of eastern europe. 900,000 Are from Morrocco. 500,000 are from Western Europe and the rest from arab countries and mostly Iran. 2 million? Wow.....You just said that 4 million are ashkenazi ina country of 5 million Jews.........that is not accurate. over 65% are non-ashkenazi. Ashkenazi have become the minority. You claim to be Palestinian, So I assuming you have seen Israel. Be honest, do most Israelis really look Russian to you?

There is not such a thing as "Israeli race",as well as there is not "American race","Arab race" and so on.
Before starting to prepare your project,spend 5 minutes on learning what "a race " is.It will save you a lot of remarks from your teachers.
Ethnically,Israelis and Jews are Hebrews.For your information,ethnicity is not necessarily
linked to the lace of residence;itÂ´s not nationality.
