This is a good question. It is true, most of us do not believe in a hell--that's really a Christian concept. There is no unanimous answer to your question, but I'll give you those of which I know:

1. His soul simply ceases to exist.

2. His soul remains permanently on the outside of the World to Come looking in, as it were, in a state of eternal regret.

3. His soul, after spending the full 12 months in a state of purification, enters Heaven but not with the same closeness to the Divine (whatever that means to you) as people who were more righteous.

To bad that no person who died ever came back to tell.

Believing means not knowing.

same thing that happens to every dead person, the cells that compose your body come apart and reverts to the molecules that make it up and as time goes on, those molecules may or may not turn into other molecules or break down further to their elemental stages, because god is fake and heaven and hell don't exist
