I heartily agree with all of the sentiments expressed so far ....well maybe not with my old friend Teez above me ! My MUM is Lebanese .....

Lebanon is unlike any other place on earth....those who haven't been there will never understand . It is the unique nature of the people , geography , history , cuisine , culture....the blend of east meeting west !

I am addicted to the place & proud of my Lebanese roots..

Yes... we are all proud. Actually Lebanese and Italians are very similar in customs and in their "hot headed" ways of thinking...we're passionate pple.
I hope you can visit Lebanon again very soon

You KNow, u reminded me of my best friend EvEr !! She is half french, half lebanese. She used to have the same passion as yours. She used 2 come here every other summer & LOVED everything !! The people, the country, the view, the friends, she even ended up married (last year) to a lebanese guy .....

Another thing, & sorry if my answer is long but these questions really affect me inside since i'm travelling in four months.. Your dad is a wise man. I always say that lebanon is a piece of heaven on Earth & I wish like from the bottom of my heart that i would stay here forever !! I will come visit in the summer but trust me, the heart goes where it belongs =)

You are not just guna love it here, ur guna have an adventure trust me =)

I just have one last tiny hope ... I wish that you can see it the way me & my friend did, there is something special in the air !! I can't explain it, dnt say i'm exagerating, this is the way i feel ! & everytime i talk about it i get tears in my eyes !!
