I'm an Egyptian American but currently living in Egypt. My husband and I plan to give our babies names that r used in both Egypt and USA in case we move back to America.we have decided on Adam for a boy and Heidi for a girl.
Some other names following are not Egyptian but are used in Egypt

I would love to help, but you already have the ones I was thinking of and the only others i can think of tutankhamun and nephrotite (sp?) lol... so I guess I wasn't very helpful....

SAMI would be a good name. It works both ways....

Mina is a nice egyptian name, most of the common names in Egypt are arabic names. Ramses and Amun are also used.
Some coptic names like Kerullos, Armanius, Bastawros, Tanius. but they are rarely used.
