Nothing to what the Israeli savage army do to Palestinian civilians on daily basis. Today Israeli occupation army killed for students in Gaza and that seems to be in retaliation to the Israeli daily terrorism that is practiced on unarmed civilians and children's living in Gaza.

Army Radio said the rocket hit the third floor of the Hutzot mall. The report said a clinic takes up part of the floor.

The site from which the Iranian rocket was launched http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/126176 used to be a peaceful Israeli fishing village. It was given to the PA in a unilateral and painful gesture for "peace"; the Jews were ethnically cleansed from the area in 2005.

There are close to 30 casualties.

Two critical have been airlifted to Tel Hashomer Hospital. The rest are in Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.

The Arabs in Gaza continue in their attempts to kill all Israelis.

And the Israelis continue to avoid attacking Gaza to eliminate the terrorists.

I agree with many users here and I advise the jews using this here board to listen to them and listen good.
The israelis are incapable of running a state.
Sixty years of blood and suffering is way too wrong on both sides.

I know that most users are youngsters or school children here so this is a good chance for me to repeat this:
Israel must make unconditional peace with their Arab brothers.
Both Arabs and the Jews speak similar languages, they have the same eating habits, they are both of Semetic origin and they share the same land.
They need eachother believe me on that.
I talk out of experience my little friends and from a safe distance, without being emotionally involved or anything.
I only wish peace and happiness again on that land, exactly the way it was 60 years ago.

Hi Paperback Writer,

A Grad/Katusha was launched into Houtsot shopping mall, in Ashkelon, at around 6PM. It rammed into a third-floor medical clinic and injured 32 people, including a critically injured 3 year-old girl. Three people had immediate operations, the child is in intensive care and I don't know what will be their fate.

My nephew's wife and daughter were in the mall as they were on their way to see a movie. They are both in Barzilai hospital, in Ashkelon, and they are being treated for post trauma along with dozens of other people. Hopefully, they will be out tomorrow.

People are angry and tired. A woman made a public announcement on behalf of all Askelonians about how terribly frightened we all are, and about the incredible uncertainty of living this way.

At the same time, there was a ceremony for the arrival of President Bush and his wife, and on TV, the cameras were moving back and forth from the ceremony to the tragedy. I guess that was the purpose for the attack. The mall is expected to collapse, else it will more than likely be torn down.

I just came on here to see your question, and it amazes me that even at a time like this, I can feel the coldness from some of the answers, especially with regards to what we have done to Palestinians, and making comparisons about who is doing worse to whom. The thumbs down are even more baffling, and they make me realize that it is no longer about the pain we both endure, but rather about whose pain is worse - as if that is what's most important. There is no compassion or a tender moment or empathy, and that hurts most of all.

Let us all pray for a miracle, as there is nothing else to hope for.

on the 60th anniversary. these people are not human. i think the current position of appeasing terrorists, withdrawing from territories, unilaterally making peace moves, is not working. time to play hardball again. the world hates us anyway, so who cares?

yesterday, israel announced they were removing many checkpoints and blockades in the west bank. this is how the palestinians respond. they really don't want peace, do they? they really do hate jews more than they love their own children. (what's ahmadinejad's version of it? muslim women love their children they just love martyrdom more? sick.)

This is an outrage and an affront to human dignity! Hamas has again shown itself to be a terrorist organization by hurting innocent civilians--I could not live in the SAME STATE as such people! I'm not sure the word "people" is appropriate here! This is an atrocious act devoid of human decency!

All I will say in response to the anti-Israeli rhetoric above (which we've all heard before, and note that I do not make ad hominem attacks on the writers themselves) is, look at where you're getting your "news" from, find the most objective sources you can find and do some independent research before spreading falsehoods. For starters, how about going to more reputable news sites than JihadNow.com and the likes? Doesn't truth still matter? THEN SEEK IT!! Learn history. Read news EVERY DAY from OBJECTIVE sources. Distill the FACTS.

When Hamas fires rockets from playgrounds and apartment rooftops, they KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY draw return fire to these spots. THEY are the ones who are responsible for the death of the Palestilian civilians who allow themselves to be used as human shields (and who cast doubt on whether they should even be considered "civilians" at all). Civilians who cherish martyrdom (and, safe to say, like all sane people, Israelis do not) should probably be called something else, so we don't constantly confuse each other with casualty statistics.
