I totally agree with Hope's answer, travelling in itself is an education & for my mind any job with the Egyptian police is a dead end job.
I'm English & can see your choices differently to where you were brought up. My husband is Egyptian & came from a very poor family, but he's really intelligent & though he didnt have the benefit of a good education, since he's been living in England he's made something of himself, instead of being stuck as a waiter all his life in Egypt.
I'm a great believer in getting the best education that you possibly can, then the world is yours. Travel while your young & it will be easier when your older.
There is one more thing, "see the other side", what i mean is go out see how the rest of the world works, dont settle for the one sided view your given by your countries government, education system & media, its the only way to know the truth.

@ Something else i thought of = you can do more for your country with the education you can get from outside of it. Learn & then go back & do GOOD.

Ok... this is my personal choice....

I would definately, leave on the first trip to go to Canada or the UK, though i prefer Canada much more.

See, traveling in itself is an education, seeing other people and studying their culture makes a person more open minded, you get a clear perspective on who you are and what you really want.... Now i suppose u will be going for A levels or the 2 years pre-university, so you will have more chance to study diversified subjects and then make a clear choice of your favorite.

Police academy in Egypt...... a big NO NO for me..... sorry but what will you be in the end???? and for how long??? then what will you be doing for the rest of your life.

Look it's obvious u have a choice that is not available for most people, so don't throw that away, think hard before choosing the easy way out, which is of course to stay home with yr family in yr country, believe me being independent and alone makes a character grow in ways u won't beleive it.

I think that you have to sit with yourself and maybe with your family and discuss some important Qs before taking a desicion.
What are you going to study abroad? and Are you coming back after studying abroad? If yes, How are your studies going to benefit the Egyptian society?
If you are not coming back then you plan to emigrate, right? Are you qualified to emigrate? Do you truly think that you will lead a better life abroad?
I believe that studying abroad is once in a life time opportunity, but bear in mind that studies alone don't automatically give you a right to immigrate and I believe that it is the best investment IF and ONLY IF you will use this study abroad for the benefit of your own country!

Canada is my suggestion look police officer i'll be the first one against you in the future even if i cant talk so in my heart im against them lol so dont join the gang
UK is ok but you know my brother was living there for long time but he never love it even Canada you can pass to USA easily at the end try to think on one thing can you deal with outside life style that's very imp. question

i live in the US with my family. i don't recommend going to Canada or UK without a family , or it will be really hard and dry life for you. plus you will need to set a goal of why you need to immigrate? is it for money? well just to let you know, they are not stupid, you may end up owning money to their banks instead. unless you had a good high status job that you can make alot of money of it. but for a beginner immigrate your first job there will be in gas station, cleaner, restaurants if God wells. if you go there for education? you need money for college and buying the books. you need to get yourself a car, and paying rent for a place to settle in.

if i were u i'd choose studying abroad definitely cause when u come back here u will make a difference in your career.... but police officer in Egypt is not that special anymore...

first you chose police academy because police job is good gob you don not forget which place you birth you want study in canada or The UK this good idea but after the study you definite service your country people

my advice to you is to study aboard,,but not canada or uk...its to cold there..but instead try to come to australia and study here...its really good, the international students here love it...weather and people are nice..u can get peace of mind,,,and don't join the police academy.just in case u don't like it..u will be stuck...and u don't want to be stuck.

I you have the choice and ure parents don't oblige you to stay in Egypt, and u KNOW for a fact that if u go abroad u will do good, then I would say choose Canada.

if you are a person who would like the easy shortcut , join the police academy and have a secure profession without trouble .

if you are good at studies and can take care of yourself , study abroad .
the UK is better bec it isnt too cold , you dont have to get a car , everything is well ordered and not too different from our life here .
and it isnt too far from home .

With regards to canada or uk.
I lived in both countries, I was born in the UK and lived the majority of my life in Canada, still currently live here.
My personal opinion is that Canada is much much more immigrant friendly, UK, i felt a lot of racism from there and i hardly felt it in Canada, i just find Canada is more a country of immigrants, and the UK is just more cold, and unwelcoming to people of different nationalities, its just my personal opinion, both have their pros and cons, but i would pick canada over the uk.
you might not ever feel like it's home, But to me canada is way more home away from home any day then the uk.
