My work as an Egyptologist is the culmination of a life long dream and years of study,and to be honest I don't think I could give up my work in that field for any other career I can imagine.
The work is far from glamorous it can verge on being tedious at times and often I come home covered in dust and dirt.
But I love it, almost as much as I love Egypt itself. |

8 years on and im still confused ...
i mean sure i love being a medical doctor ... but sometimes i think - is it worth it ??? what if i studied languages ? i can already speak 5 languages - fluent in 3 of them ... but then i slap myself and decide to cut the crap .. this is my calling .. it has always been ... and iam about to finish so .....
when i was a kid i dreamt about being an astronaut ... but of course that is not an option loool =D |

i Surely Do , my first Job was an IT Guy i loved it too much and dreamt to have it and i did , worked for day and night to be succeful in that job , till i become regional manager in one internatioanl company , now i am indpendent consultnat and i sell my knowledge , i realy love it too much , nothing can make me work most of the day and night hours like the job i love , through it i got too much knowledge too much money too and ALAHMD ALLAH i love it too much ! |

I really love my job! I've been dreaming of becoming a journalist when I was a child, but I've also been dreaming of some other professions as well. Later on, I found out all I've been looking for in job of a journalist. Particularly, it is a job of journalist working in lifestyle, culture and travel field. I find it very rewarding in every way and I don't think I'd ever wish to change it. |

Sure I did, and i change it, but I return back to my first career, and i'm thinking i shouldn't have done that, i mean returning back.

When I was a kid I dreamed to be a doctor and when I was a teenager I was interested in politics, I wanted to be an Ambassador , but after that I became interested in Science, especially physics, I was fond of things like Quantum mechanic and general relativity, so I wished to work in scientific research career and thanks to God, my wish to be a researcher came true. I enjoy my work as a physicist thanks to God. |

Well,I used to love what I THOUGHT I was going to study,but I was shocked by the way they treat us in the university and how they teach us!
Im really suffering! ...Im not enjoying it at all!
And yeah Im thinkin about changing it if I got the chance.
I dont think I'll hesitate!

I always since as far as I could remember wanted to be a volunteer teacher in Africa some where lol well I am in Africa as such but not so much a teacher. I have had some really hard jobs (I ended up being an oracle systems administrator -- wooppeee dooo!!!) and alhamdulilah my job at the moment is the best i have ever had. i look after the most wonderful husband I could have asked for. i have been blessed with a whole year off work lol. But its back to the grind stone soon lol. |

I love my job but I hated the work atmosphere. I started associating the work with the place and so I had to quit. Right now, I am in between jobs and studying hard to swap countries. It seems there are no decent professionals in Egypt anymore! Or is it the fact that they dont like promising young aspirants as we seem to be a threat to them? |

I never considered working in my current job growing up. It isn't that I don't like the work I do. I just don't like my work environment. I went back to school and recently earned another degree in another field. I'd like to work in this new career but finding a job in this economy and at my age is a bit challenging. |
