1 & 4
Palestinian refugees should be able to come back and claim back the lands that was stolen from them. Obviously Israel probably can't give back everything they stole from the Palestinians but at least try..
Christians, Muslims, and Jews live and co-exist peacefully together under Palestinian Islamic rule just like they did before the 1920's for hundreds of years!
Palestinians are always saying, dismantle the state of Israel and we will forgive you and allow you to live with us peacefully just like the Palestinian Jews did ages ago..
--------------------------------------...
ZINCA
1. According to legal documents, Arabs DO have land in Palestine. Land that they BOUGHT. Palestine was around 4% Palestinian Jews before the European Jews invaded. 4% Jews can't own all of Palestine unless you think the Jews own Palestine "by default".
2. Israel left Gaza completely? You know how many people are dying in Gaza because of the siege? What's their fault? They elected Hammas. If they don't elect Hammas, they die, if they do, they die too.. Hmmm..
And whether or not occupation forces are still in the West Bank which they probably are, the missiles provided by the US are surely making their mark on thousands of Palestine houses.
3. Fatah and Hammas aren't on that bad terms as they used to be anyway.. And Israel owning 82% of the land while Palestine owning 18% doesn't seem like a 2-way state to me whether the so called civil war ends or not.
4. That is true, the land was occupied by Britain but Britain treated the Palestinians better, and Muslims, Christians, and Jews who were "Arab" lived in peace in their own communities. But if you go back when they defeated the Ottoman Empire, Palestinians who are Muslims, Christians and Jews did live in peace under Palestinian Islamic rule and obviously the three groups DONT all live in peace today in Israel considering that at the sect of Palestine referred to as Israel, Palestinians don't even have a say in government.
All of the Arab world? lol do you go to an Israeli school by any chance? In MOST of the Arab world Christians and Muslims have learned to live in peace. Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Bosnia, etc.
Even the Jews of today live in peace in Syria with their Christian and Muslim neighbors.
Israel is the only country in the Middle East that violently persecutes their own people, the Orthodox Rabbis who are speaking against them.
"Israel IS democratic and allows freedom of religion, and when the arab world becomes secular, come talk to us, until then there can be 1 jewish state among 22 arab states."
- Israel allows Freedom of religion for Jews. The Arab world is secular, only very few Arabic countries are still not secular, 1 or 2? Saudi Arabia is all I can think of and seems like so do you.
- Again you are suggesting that Judaism is a nationality. Which it clearly isn't. Jews can be Arabs and can come from Arab states.
- Israel is democratic? Maybe by name, but actions speak louder then words. Killing Orthodox Rabbis who are only warning the Zionists from the curse of God is not Democracy. |

1 - Palestinians get back their lands is the obvious solution. |

I would like to think, 1 & 4 BUT i genuinely believe, these jews will never be able to behave like a normal human beings since they've had crossed that line long ago and have been adopted to this ferociousness so heavily.
So I'm leaning more to wards #1 which
it originally IS the Palestinian's land to begin with. |

4. Christians, Muslims and Jews live again like before 1948.
The dialectical solution. |

Number 1. It's the right of the Palestinians to get their country back, why should they accept Jewish occupation of their land, or share it? I'd also go with number 4, but I doubt that it would ever happen. |

4) would be ideal but I don't think it's possible, given all that's happened and all the bad blood. at least not for now.
3) might be good too, but it also may not work considering they cannot agree on things like what to do with Jerusalem. And I think israel would have to pay massive reparations to Palestine for a long time to make up for what happened.
1) would be fair, but Jewish people should be allowed to live there, as long as they are peaceful (well EVERYONE should be peaceful). And of course, Christians too, but I don't think that was really ever going to be a problem.
So I guess I pick 4, and if not 4 then 1. |

1 - Palestinians get back their lands
They will at the minimum because of their birthrate and the drop in israeli population numbers. There are many other reasons but this is verifiable and cannot be argued against.
2 - Palestinians accept the occupation and live under the Israeli Flag
After 60 years Palestinians are still fighting to free their land. Everyday ersatz israel hammers another nail in their own coffin.
3 - Two states solution
Impossible to work. Not enough land and resources and fighting will continue because it does not resolve any issues.
4 - Christians, Muslims and Jews live again like before 1948.
You have not listed the zionists. They are not Jewish and not of the local ethnicity. Until they are removed there will be no peace. |

My choice is (4) Christians, Muslims and Jews live again like before 1948.
However, as an independent country (not under British Mandate), where all citizens have equal rights and no privilage for any faith.
Zionists will not agree to (1) and (4).
Zionists will accept a 2-state solution, but their definition of this solution does not even come close to Palestinian expectations. The Palestinians want to establish their state over 100% of the West Bank and Gaza Strip (all lands militarily occupied by Israel in 1967 including East Jerusalem), and that state to be 100% sovereign over its borders and resources. They also want the right of return and compensation for the refugees who were forced out of their homes in 1948 war.
From the above the Israelis are offering a state for the Palestinians as follows:
1) Parts of the West Bank and Gaza Strip
2) No East Jerusalem
3) No borders with the outside world
4) Majority of illegal settlements to be annexed to Israel
5) No return for refugees
6) Water resources in the West Bank to be shared (currently Israel takes 83% of the water resources to the settlers who make 12% of the population)
Note that the UN partition plan in 1947 gave the Palestinians 45% of Palestine. The West Bank and Gaza Strip make only 20% of Palestine. |

4 - Christians, Muslims and Jews live again like before 1948.
I think a third party should take control (maybe UN) but not Arabs or Hebrews!! The country should be democratic and secular which will allow freedom of religion .
Uhhhh i hope peace can finally come true and this nightmare comes to an end! |

The only practical answer is point 3, a two state solution with a Jewish State of Israel living side by side in security and peace with a Muslim State of Palestine.
The first point ignores the fact that land belonged to Jews throughout most of the coastal plain as well as the Jezreel and upper Jordan Valleys. It also ignores state lands which accounted for 70% of Israel within the Green Line inherited from the Ottomans and British Mandate.
The second point ignores a Palestinian claim to the West Bank and Gaza which should become a Palestinian state if the Palestinians accept peace with Israel.
Point number 4 does not take into account the communal warfare that was present even before the British Mandate. Christians have fled the PA areas of the West Bank and are under attack in Hamas run Gaza. Not surprisingly they are only thriving in Israel. |

THE TRUTH IS HOLY

If you truly want peace and you are not just another "talker" here, then the way to create a chance at peace is a four state solution: Israel is a real state and is rightfully and righteously there so Israel stays. West Jordan becomes a state known as The Kingdom of David. East Jordan becomes "Palestine" or "Philistine" or whatever the so-called "Palestinians" wish to call it. North East Jordan remains The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This is a four state solution that is presented in the name of peace. I am tired of Jewish losses and I am very tired of hearing about Arab deaths (whether actual or staged for the camera). If any of the YA community truly want peace and an end to the violence in that part of the world, join me in putting this peace plan into effect. |

i think they should split the land
because the flag has the symbol of judaism on it, it wouldnt be fair to the Muslims for that to represent them
also there are a lot of places that the rulers are not the original owners and they are going fine

It's funny, you realize that the UN does not designate the situation as an occupation. Look it up.
So number 1 is fair, which would mean parts of haifa, yaffa and the west bank are returned. What about land bought by JEws. What bout land owned by the British given to the jews. Arabs owned 4% of the land legally prior to the creation of the JEwish state. Jews owned 7%.
Number 2- UN does not recognize as an occupation.
Number 3- Reasonable but unrealistic.
Number 4- Before 1948 there was a lot of tension which led to the creation of Israel and refugee camps. |
|

The angels have the Arc Light.

We already have a two-state solution. 7/8ths of the Mandate of Palestine became the state of Transjordan in 1921.
Of the remaining 1/8th, half was to become a SECOND Arab state under the same UN Partition which created the state of Israel out of the other half.
That state was denied by the governments of existing Arab nations. The same nations who invaded Israel and told the Palestinian Arabs to flee. The same nations who refused to take in the refugees after they had failed to destroy Israel.
It really wasn't asking too much. Israel absorbed the equivalent number of Jews who had been forced to flee their homes throughout the Mideast when Israel was invaded.
15/16ths of the Mandate could have been under the full control of Arab governments. The only reason why it's closer to 7/8ths is because the 1948 governments refused to accept the existence of Israel.
Given that history:
1 - Any restitution for Jewish property lost elsewhere in '48? That only begins to address the problems with your wording here.
2 - The Palestinian Arabs who didn't flee are full Israeli citizens, ~23% of the population. Given the phenomenal birthrate of the refugees, if they were all granted Israeli citizenship, Israel would cease to be a Jewish state within two generations. That's the goal of the Arab-manufactured and maintained refugee crisis after all.
3 - It wasn't the Jews who rejected it the first time.
4 - Under the auspices of the UK again? That didn't work so well the first time.
How about something different? Say resettling the Palestinian Arab refugees amongst the other countries in proportion to the number of Jews who were forced to flee from each. That would have been easier in '49, before they exploded their population. But why not? |

1 - Jews were the original owners of the land of Israel.
2 - Palestinians should get their own state under certain terms.
( if you wish to know my opinion please feel free to email me )
3 - Read above.
4 - Regardless of what people say about Jews and Muslims living in harmony prior to 1948, it is untrue.
In fact, it was anti-semitism in the middle-east prior 1900's which was a catalyst towards the creation of the concept of zionism.
Again please feel free to email me for more of my opinions.

I don't want to offend your views here. But this is the Israel section.
There is no need to put Israel / Palestine. |

1. palestinians are jews, and they have their land. arabs never had land in israel.
2. there is no occupation. israel left gaza completely, and in the west bank, the PA controls arab parts and israel controls jewish parts.
3. yes that will be the solution as soon as the arabs end their civil war, fatah vs. hamas.
4. before 48, the land was occupied by britain. they're not coming back. but today, all 3 groups live in peace in israel. the only places they DON'T live in peace, is all over the arab world, where arabs persecute non-muslims. this happens not just in the west bank and gaza, but also in saudi arabia, and other arab countries. |
