Should Hosni Mubarak be charged with crimes against humanity? |
For his participation with Israel in blockading Gaza resulting in the death of hundreds of people? Additional Details This question is not about Egypt or the Egyptians. I have very high regards for the Egyptian people, who never let their Palestinian brethren down. This is about Hosni Mubarak and his regime, who are leading Egypt in spite of the Egyptians. Most Egyptians are too tired of him already. Several Egyptian law makers have already made declarations that Hosni Mubarak decision to maintain the blockade from Egypt's side is both illegal and immoral under international law, and can be considered a crime against humanity. |

Besara7a yes he has to.
All what he does is support Israel and blame Hamas.
Even last time when Israel rejected the Egyptian peace plan, mish yeskot w khalas, no, he said that Israel rejected it because Hamas had some opinions about.
Ya3ni eh da.
W ba3deen, it is not the death of hundreds of people, bas thousands of people.
Plus he didn't participate in the summit held in Qatar for discussing the issues in Gaza, and instead, he is going to participate in the meeting in Kuwait for discussing the Arab financial crisis.

Who is going to charge him??
International court???...i think not.... as all International rules are for israel
eg, israel will never be charged with war crimes or genocide
but Sudan's president might??
why, coz sudan is an enemy state in the eyes of israel
then it would be an enemy for international law,,,
well the genocide in darfur in nothing compared to the genocide in Gaza... |

I guess you should value your president a little more, because Hosni Mubarak actually is trying to help to meditate in middle of this awful madness to find an acceptable way out.
So my question is: What the hell are you talking about?
I guess you know as well as me and everybody else that Egypt has suffered more than once the consequences of Islamic terror attacks, which provoked even a serve decrease of tourism flow to Egypt.
Israel is the neighbour country of Egypt and both are sovereign countries. And sorry to say, but until now, Palestine is not a sovereign country at all. But these circumstances are not the fault of Israel, the only ones who are responsible for not having a autonomous and world wide recognized country with its own frontiers is the fault of this terror pack called Hamas.
Would you feel proud of your president if he would support terrorists? In this case I must say that you would be one of the guilty ones to blame for supporting terror acts as well in your own country.
Terrorists don´t understand about frontiers and they don´t respect anybodies lives. How should they, if they do not even respect their children’s lives, neither their own lives?
Be careful with what you wish, because if you have bad luck it will come true some day… and I simply can´t imagine that any half way reasonable person wants to live under a terror regime or being ruled by terrorists.
Or would you like to be governed by a Taliban regime?
Don´t laugh, because the roots of all terrorists are the same, they talk about liberation of their people and all they are really interested in is oppressing their own people and act even with terror acts against them if they are not convenient enough…
You should support your president in his fight against terrorism and you should pray that Egypt stays free of terrorists and ultra orthodox Islamic regimes. (I guess you don´t want to lose your personal freedom and will of choice, right? So why do you wish terrorism for other countries? Why do you think that others have to suffer from it?)
I am sure that your president is doing his very best to make this madness stop as soon as possible, because in one thing at least you are right: There is no justification in humiliating, injuring and killing innocents to reach any proposal at all.
So I think that´s why the interest and the support of your president should be valued highly, because he does want to stop any aggressions against humanity, he tries to find a solution for peace and he even suggests solutions for establishing borders, which would give Palestine in the end a sovereign country.
(And you should not forget that Palestine never has had a sovereign country, because Palestine has been occupied by Romans, Turks, British, etc… but it was never a sovereign country. So they gambled their big chance first in 1948 and countless times since then. So I hope that in the end there is a light in the tunnel and everything will stop for once.
Don´t fall in the tramp to support terrorism, because surely it will hit you back in the future and then you will be the first to cry out that you did not want this for you .
So why do you want it for others???? |

No for sure.
This time I agree with him and he made the best possible. This is politics to make the possible. This is the first time Gaza takes all of these aids, ambulance cars, doctors and all of these insured Palestinians to be taken to Egypt, Turkey, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Lybia and other countries. Most countries of the world started to help or to ask Egypt what they can do after Egypt started.
We should know what does it mean to let the border open for any one just to pass like that. This never happens in any place in the world including Jordan, South Lebanon, Syria. I mean not this time or ever when there was a problem.
Iran, Syria and Jordan didn't open the borders for Iraqis just simply like that when America started to attack.
Israel, Hamas, Syria and Iran would love to push the people of Gaza to pass to Sinai and stay there or anywhere in Egypt. This is an old plan made by Israel and USA. Everyone of them has his reason for that.
I can say Egyptian doctors still can volunteer to Gaza and anyone who is ready to share his home and income with a family from Gaza, it's available. If someone can support with money only, it's available, so if someone wish to help, it's better to start with self and don't wait for Husni Mubarak as he is a Politician working for his people.
And what about the people who can't reach the borders, shouldn't we save them too. We should go to war then anybody is ready to go to war should say that clearly.
When many people are losing their lives, everybody who cares should be realistic. |

i asked zougi {ma husband} that same q bcus i really couldn't understand it maself. he said that Hosni don't wana make war upon his ppl. yes Ghaza needs help i agree with both sides idk how. i agree he is in the wrong, but i also believe that he should help Ghaza's refugees, and watever happens would of course be under the will of Allah and Hosni should deal with it accordingly. on the other hand, there is nough war in this world, and i don't think Hosni wants to add nother country to this list. but at least he sent food. maybe it's not all wat he can do, but he did something, at least he did NOTHING at all. idk this just zougi n ma opinions. we acknowledge that he should @ least try a bit harder |

Hatam why do not you ask abu Mazan and his dahalan about Gaza blockade and their role in it. Mr Mubarak did not tell Abu Mazan to leave Rafh crossing.
remember dahalan 5 Balady. So blockading Gaza was done by PA to force hamas out the government. |

Yes he should be. I hate the man. He has done nothing for Egypt. He has been president before my dad was born till now. In America 8 years is max. and that should apply to Egypt too. He has done nothing to advance Egypt whats so ever. Also, he and his people are very corrupt. America is paying them off, and the stupid Israeli's have a treaty with us, doesn't apply anymore b/c Israel broke the rules. Whoever is saying this isn't Egypt's problem, they're wrong/ This is all the arabs problem. Didn't prophet muhammed say that when one arab is hurting all arabs are also hurting. Well right now thousands are being killed, and no one is doing anything about it except hamas who is fighting back. I support hamas because they are fighting for what they believe in and will never give up. Hamas did something no other arab country will do, they're standing up to Israel.` |

Hosny Mubarak is responsible for the weakness of Arabs that we witness today, Egypt was always the leader of Arabs, let's say the big sister, I think all the problems of the Egyptians, and then the problems of Arabs and muslims and Palestine will be solved once he leaves |

He is in no way responsible for getting supplies into those terrorists! If they could be trusted maybe they'd have a friend or, two among the world who'd risk their lives floating them so supplies, but obviously, they don't and they can't. Hamas has been known to blow up anyone bringing supplies in anyway so they can say Israel did it and make the whole world cry.
Anyway, you'd think they'd stop missile firing if they needed supplies. Seems rational, doesn't? Obviously, they have everything they need or, they'd stop firing.
If they were hungry or, had run out of water, they'd stop then wouldn't they? But they haven't stopped which obviously shows their ppl are being fed, not going without medical care or, pharmacy.
Don't worry about it. They know they can get anything they want just as soon as they stop throwing their little hissy fits and they haven't stopped throwing their little hissy fits, yet so, they must have everything they need over there,
Heck, they're probably sitting home right now watching Friday the 13th or, something similar. They got to like this stuff cause they're still throwing hissy fits and they could start getting back to a normal life if they wanted, but they don't want.
So, don't worry about them.
This is fun for them. They obviously like it or, those hissy fits would have ended by now.
