There is a very simple solution, "Israel" should make a deal with Egyptian government to buy some land from part of Sinai Egypt and give it to the Palestinians, since Egypt it is an Islamic country should help other Muslims to have a home land, and it is not that the country will be crowded soon, so Palestinians will have there own homeland, Islamic, or what ever country, away from the Jews, no more killing, no mess, and than all other Palestinians can return to there own country, peace will come to every neighboring countries too. I wish can be worked out, but I have one worry, maybe than they might try to take Egypt away from the Egyptians.

Israel has to permanently return Gaza Strip, West Bank, and East Jerusalem (minus the Old City area) to the (future) State of Palestine. I suggest the Old City to be remained administering by Israel, since it has granted a Muslim Council, Waqf, full administration of the site. Thus, Muslims are fully guaranteed to worship freely in both Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Until the mid-nineteenth century, non-Muslims were barred from Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque area. Since 1967, non-Muslims have been allowed some entry, but non-Muslim prayers on the Temple Mount are not allowed.

In 2006, the compound was reopened to non-Muslim visitors free of charge, except on Fridays and Muslim holidays, between 7-10 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Entry is through a covered wooden walkway next to the security entrance to the Western Wall known as the Mugrabi or Maimonides Gate. Entry to the mosques themselves is prohibited to non-Muslims, as is access to the Temple Mount through the Cotton Market. Visitors undergo strict security screening, and items such as Hebrew prayerbooks or musical instruments are not allowed.

I would prefer if we all Muslims, Jews, and Christians could live together peacefully but it seems very difficult due to the current issues so I would partially agree with you that it should be divided hoping that one day we will understand each other more and be able to better accept each others.
I live in Canada now and we have the best example of culture differences and yet you find people so happy with each others. Muslims, Jews, Christians, Hindus, etc all live in the same area and love each other.
People from all countries get a long and you don't see any kind of racism or discrimination from someone agaist the other. It makes you love your life.
A fair division whould be the Israelis giving the land they occupied in 1967 back to the palestinains. Then these lands whould be divided between muslims and christians based on their population.

No not if it means dividing Jerusalem... The Israelis should take tel Aviv as their Capital and leave Jerusalem for all people of the three major religions of the Holy Land. And that would be Christian, Islam & Jewish religions. This city is important to all three so it should be left alone and not divided... to do this will never bring Peace in the Middle East.

Its allways been my thinking that the land of Israel/Palestine should be reverted back to pre '67 borders Jeursalem included.

Now if such a thing was to happen speaking about jeursalem specifically i think there should be some sort of impartial group there to make sure no jewish shrines are desecrated or fall into
dis repear because when east jeursalem was under jordanian control apparently that was a bigg issue.

Also i think if the UN wants to prove their worth then they actually guard Israel/Palestines borders so that sucide bombers,rockets or whatever might provoke israel doesn't get in. I know thats to much to hope for the UN to do but you never know.....

i definately dont thing that israel should be divided. It is already a tiny country, why make it even smaller? The land of israel before israel was "created" was divided, half was given to palestinians and half to jews, and now the palestinians are fighting to get some of the jewish half? even if israel is divided, the palestinians will keep wanting more land till israel is a completely palestinian country.
