Why not a previously remote location in the Mid East? During the Ottoman Empire (1299-1922), Israel was a sparsely populated backwater -- undeveloped and beyond remote.

As for Africa, much of that is Islamic as well. So you'll have the same problems.

Like most people who have partial knowledge of the history, you appear to accept that the problem is entirely about displacement. That's not the case in the least. It's about Muslim refusal to have what they see as an infidel state in their midst. They consider the land to be a waqf, an endowment for their benefit, and theirs alone, for all time.

Israel, on the other hand, is willing to share. Some 20% of its population are Arabic, including members of the Knesset.

It would be trouble as no part of Africa is actually inhabited. They inevitably would have to take somebodys land, the problem would be the same as with the palestinians

The candidate regions for a new Jewish homeland included the Rhineland, present-day Israel, Argentina, and Uganda.

Ethiopia is actually their ancestral homeland as all archeological evidence suggests; Hebrew artifacts there are of much greater antiquity than anything found in Palestine. The "Israeli" government has an excellent relationship with Ethiopia so I shouldn't think Jewish migration to their true Ancestral Homeland would be a problem; the present Ethiopian government is cash-starved and would certainly welcome the capital investment that would surely follow,what to speak of truly massive U.S. aid.

Israel is a soverign nation just like any other. Why should they be moved? On the other hand, the Palestinians are not, so why shouldn't they be moved to Jordan and Egypt respectively?
