I agree , and maybe put a permanent stamp saying RAPIST on their forehead....and if you see someone with this stamp you should be allowed to give them a lekker klap and they are not allowed to retaliate - sounds far-fetched i know , but these guys need to suffer....siega lo mtondo...

To be honest i think most societies are much too soft on criminals with our political correctness running rife - whip a man for stealing and he wouldnt do it again i say.

the only downside of such a final and decisive thing as castration is you would have to be very sure that a rape was definately commited, as it would be hell not being able to have kids if you are innocent, and i have a friend who was wrongly accused of rape by a crazy girl.

I abhor rapists, but for the same reason that I oppose death penalty, I won't support castration. When I was practising law, I had two of my clients convicted of rape. In one case the alleged victim confessed just when the case was to be heard in appellate division. In another, the alleged victim committed suicide - she left a note that said " ........I'm sorry and feel ashamed of myself. Please forgive me and may God give you all strength".

Courts make genuine mistakes, while some alleged victims are malicious. How do you correct the suffering!!!!

Yes. In fact, I think that ALL rapists, no matter which continent they live in, should be castrated and locked up for life.

Rape is such a horrible crime, leaving the victim forever scarred and apprehensive. It degrades the victim so much, and I think that not even the death penalty should be enough punishment for the one to perpetrate such a crime.

So yeah, they should be castrated. Preferably with a blunt knife or switch blade.

I would, it doesnt guarantee thay wont still have the urges sadly but will make them think twice!The best thing is life in prison with no chance of parole. Why should they have a life after ruining one?

Yes i couldn't agree more,and should go for all rapists.Castrating them would certainly make them think twice before engaging in such crime again and also would deter others who had the same criminal intentions.
