Its a fantastic idea, but an unrealistic one. The UK cannot go to war with a country without the accord of America. You're thinking 'that's just stupid', and i did too. Its true to a certain extent, American controls the UK nuclear system, and they have a double key meaning in the UK if brown wanted to nuke iceland for their economic f*ck up for example, he would need someone in NORAD to turn their key, punch in their code etc whatever you do when you want to launch a nuke.

Another reason why the UK would never do that is because it helped found Israel and also helped arm it. We are politically influenced by the same Zionist lobbies as in america, america as Merrill lynch etc, we have Rothschild, Goldmansachs etc.

But if you go to power, i'm for it.

If it were only that simple. Unfortunately, I think all we can hope for is '67 borders, and I wonder if that is even achievable. I am saddened to say that unless the world acts to save the Palestinian people, I am afraid they will be cleansed from Palestine altogether. I worry that once this conflict is over, people will forget about how many people died, and the illegal use of some questionable weapons such as white phosphorus, and depleted uranium, as well as multiple other breaches of human rights and war crimes committed by the Israeli's against the Palestinian people.
People love a cause, once it is out of sight, it is out of mind. I hope that people will not forget and pressure their governments and the UN and human rights organisations to do something about this atrocity.

Yes. And the Israeli's should return it to the Brits and the Brits should return it to the Ottoman Empire, etc. etc. all the way back to Biblical days when it belonged to the Jews.

While we're at it, the U.S. should return land to the Native Americans, or at least to the French, the Brits, and the Mexicans.

What other country on earth has EVER returned land won in battle? Israel has already done so more than once. WHY is Israel always held to a higher standard. What other country on earth is expected to endure daily rocket fire for eight years without responding?

1. The UN gave Arabs half the land and Jews half the land.
2. The Arabs attacked.
3. The Jews defeated the Arabs.

The land captured in 1948 was a price to pay for Arab aggression and stupidity. There is no reason to return it. The land captured in 1967 is more than enough.

The Turks defeated the Greeks, does that mean Turkey should return its entire western shore?

That's odd because the same United Nations that seems to be protecting the Arabs in this squabble now that the OIC has its death grip on them said otherwise when they drafted and wrote Resolution 242.

Although the Arab states, with the help of Russia pushed for a complete withdrawal from all lands and territories, The resolution does not make Israeli withdrawal a prerequisite for Arab action and the authors of that resolution have made it clear numerous times that the refusal to require Israel to withdrawal from all lands and territories was deliberate. This resolution was accepted by the Arab states, and signed into affect by the United Nations Security Council on November 22, 1967.

That the Arabs have refused to abide by a resolution they signed is neither here nor there. That the United Nations has not required Israel to make a complete withdrawal based on that resolution makes it final. The Arabs need to get over it.

EDIT RE: Esc. - I would only like to correct you on one minor detail. The division of the Palestinian Territory was not 50/50. The Arabs got nearly 80% and the Jews got just a tad over 20%. But 80% wasn't good enough for the Arabs as they demanded it all, on top of demanding the right to kick 850,000 Jews out of their countries. You just can't please some people, no matter what you give them.
