To GREEN EYES: Alot of the money the USA sends to Israel is for weapons the trick is the USA sends X amount of money to Israel and then Israel buys X amount of weapons with the money they got from the USA.
That way Israel (the American ally) gets weapons and the USA gets a big customer.
Lots of other countries get money and arms not just Israel including
Saudi Arabia,Egypt and Pakistan.
Recently the USA has been bolstering the militaries of american allyied countries in the middle east in the wake of a defiant Iran. |

My Israeli relatives explained to me that of the money America gives Israel some 75 % has then to be spent on arms/technology that is American. Can anyone verify this?
Why don't people ever challenge the vast amounts of money that America gives to Iraq, to Germany, to the Palestinian Authority, and the billion dollar deals with Saudi Arabia?
American people should be glad that their country supports and is loyal to the only truly democratic country in the Middle East. |

Check this website out and you will see all the complexities of how the US gives aid to israel in a way i n which no other nation on earth gets. Israel is just one country yet it receives 33%b of all the foreign aid that US tax payers are forced to give to all the countries of the world.
Also in this link listed below you will see hiow Israel receives it's money upfront at the beginning of each fiscal year so that it can earn the interest by depositing the whole lump sum.
Also people in the US are allowed to send collectively what amounts to billions of tax deductible contributions to organizations that send money to Israel. This amounts to a tax subsidy given by the rest of the US tax payers which must make up the difference of the monees that would have gone to the US treasury for services and running the govt expenses here in US such as infrastructure improvemnet.
Copy and paste it into your browser and go to the link and read all the information on how foreign aid is given to Israel in the huge amount and in the ways that it is given to no other country.
Also the link will show that the US gives two billion dollars a year to Egypt as bribery money so that Egypt will never attack Israel. this was doen in 1979 by Jimmy Carter when he brokered the lasting peace between Anwar sadat of Egypt and manachem Begin of Israel. From that time on Egypt has never attacked Israel and there is even travel and tourism between the two countreis.
So the US sends many more billions of dollars in aid each year than just the one billion dollar as stated in your question.
The article contains no anti-semitism. It just explains in detail all the ways in which foreign aid is given to Israel and no other country receives as much aid or given to in the ways israel is allowed to receive it's foreign aid and the wide latitiude it is allowed to use that money for many different things.
As for the answering of your question about should we send a billion dollars every year to Israel in foreign aid. My answer is "no".
We should follow the saying of our first president George
Washington said. Show favoritism toward none and trade freely with all countries. In this way the US will have less problems in the world and all the money that goes to all the countries of the world will stay in the United States to help us to live better here and to improve out infrastructure and our own poverty and social problems and unemployment etc. In other words we will solve our own domestic problems and not worry about foreign affairs and meddling in all the countries of the world.
Let each country solve its own problems.
Sorry for the long answer. |

Better Israel than Pakistan, Egypt, or Saudi Arabia. Cause at least you know the Israelis won't stab you in the back. Even the redcoats stab us in the back. |

Israel receive more than 20 billions $ each year from American taxpayers without their consent: 3.7B$ from the Congress Foreign Aid Program, 10B$ Free Loans Guarantee, and 6 to 10 B$ from USA Tax System Loophole as Charity money deducted from American Zionist Jews Tax's to be sent to Israeli illegal Settlements. |

Yes, as other people have said much of the money that Israel 'receives' is earmarked to be spent on purchasing American arms as well as military provisions. For example, Israeli soldiers have been given Shop-rite tuna, because the army had to spend the money and Shop-rite tuna is kosher so it was worth it.
Besides for that, Israel is a country that is worth supporting from America's point of view. It is a stable rights-based democracy in the heart of dictatorships, as well as a country that is on the frontier of the War on Terror. Israel's existence makes the world a better place for countries like the US, and thus for the US it is certainly worth supporting. |

If we didn't the Christian Americans would invade DC. That's how much Christians hate Jews.
Pass that along to Ultra would ya? |

No, and most Israelis would say no as well. There are too many strings attached to the money. |
