No one is persecuting jews in America,which has more jews than Palestine. There is no need for any so-called safe-haven. Gov. Spitzer of NYS is not wearing striped pajamas or being baked in an oven. Sen. Feinstein is fine. Barbara Boxer,never been in a boxcar. Holocaust,ended 63 years ago.Far away and long ago. Obviously the Jewish Agency lied to the world press and misled popular opinion with their endless press kits and free newsreel footage in 1948. Palestine was not "a land without people for a people without land". No,the self-declared government was not founded by "Holocaust survivors"; not a single member of the government was a Holocaust survivor. One could write a book about the founding of this alleged government but unfortunately the only approriate title would be the antisemitic- sounding "On the Jews And Their Lies". Lies,lies and still more lies. And yes,it is in essence just a big pile of poop left behind by the British Lion. No British mandate,no disenfranchised people. Of course they should get their country back. The Mandate ended in 1948. They haven't had a legal government since.

Yes. It belongs to the Palestinian people & their land stolen by Israel should be given back to them.

Err...let me critiqe Rillifans post for a sec.

The vast majority of the jews(in Palestine) save for a small hanful have been in the region for no more then 150 some years. Going back to the Ailyah of 1882. The Palestinians on the other hand have been in t he region much longer living alongside a small native jewish population. The vast majority of the jews of Israel are the children,grand children or great grand children of Immigrants from Europe, the middle east and North africa.

So you see the Palestinians do have much more claim then then this recent phonomenon in the region.(the jewish immgirants)

A jew living in Finland has as much right to live in Palestine if not even more then a Palestine who's family has been living in the region for 1000 years +?

I acknoledged the jews who had been living in the region for many generations but i did not think that one jew living in Palestine automatically lays claim for every single jew in the world to lay claim. Please explain, thanks.

I will not get into the deep history of it all right now, but I will say that the situation today is not who owns Jerusalem, its the fact that Israeli government whats to completely demolish the rest of the Arab world, and are completely depriving the Palestinians of their rights, having them completely under siege, and murdering them and their children.

yes...but Israel is just too greedy...they want all the land they can get...if they were peaceful, they wouldn't annex parts of Palestine when they already have Jerusalem

No, that land was actually desert and mostly uninhabited. Arabs flooded in when it was given to Israel. Those who were nomadic or didn't want to stay in Israel were given land in Jordan. There has not been a "Palestine" on a map for over 50 years. They are just moslems who for the most part were not even settled in that part of the world in the 1940s and just don't want Israel there at all. All this about Palestine as a homeland is made up propaganda to gain sympathy for their terrorist war. They beat women down and then get them to kill themselves with suicide bombs - many pregnant. They are not nice people and no they don't live or belong there.

No, because Palestinians is a new term the people living in areas now deemed "Palestine" are using to gain sympathy. They were part of Egypt and Jordan beforehand... not Israel. Israel won the land in a war of survival... now they want it back after trying to destroy the Jews for decades? How does that make sense?

Palistinians are a Nomadic people/tribe. They've wandered aimlessly for Centuries, Hundreds, Thousands of years.
Unfortunately they are DISLIKED by some of their own Pepole....they are not the Jews you know in N. Y. Palis are a "Tribe" unto themselves.
The Arabs hate them and rarely have anything to do with them or for them. It's more of a Cultural thing....and Isreal gets the BLAME! It DOESN'T belong to them, Palestine/Jerusalem belongs to Israelis.
Now that 'Palestine' is becoming desireable, they WANT IT?
Tell me, ARE YOU READY TO GIVE AMERICA BACK TO THE INDIANS....ha ha..., I THOUGHT, NOT!

The Romans changed the name of the land to Philistinia after a dead race of people.
What was it called before that and who lived there?
They were forced off the land because they were organized and defended themselves.
The Bedouin Arabs were few and totally disorganized so were no threat to Rome.
I never heard of the land being called Palestine until the 50's.
The Jew was forced to leave and more or less forced to go to Israel and dumped because the kind people of the civilized world did not want to adopt them.
The ultimate in racial discrimination.
So they were told sink or swim and through four massive attacks this tiny nation, with the protection of God Himself, won them all.
They got it. They will keep it forever. You are only left out because you choose to be.

The so called Palestinians have no more legitimate a claim to the region usually designated as "Palestine" than do the Jews who occupy a part of it since both occupy the land on the basis of conquest.

Jerusalem was a CHRISTIAN city, part of the Byzantine empire, and occupied by Hellenized Roman citizens when the Arabs invaded.

The Byzantines, as heirs to Rome, claimed it on the basis of their conquest just as everyone from Assyrians to Egyptians to the Jews themselves claimed it.

If we go back far enough we discover that Jerusalem was a city founded by the Canaanites. But none of them are around to give the city back to.

EDIT@EU Citizen: It is also a fact that there have been Jews there in continuous residence since before the Arab invasions.The entire logic, such that it is, of what you say goes out the window on that fact.
