Shouldn't this section be called Palestine instead of Israel? Or at least HAVE a seperate section?

Your funny Aaron...I was driving through the big state of Texas not to long ago,,, i drove from top of the state all the way down to Houston, TX.

Anyway somewhere between the middle of the great state of Texas,,,, well it seemed maybe i was driving 4 or maybe 5 hours with nothing _________ not 1 house in site and then suddenly it dawned on me................ i turned to my husband and said....This is really sad :-(

It would stop at least the war of words to have another section called Palestine, I guess the powers that be don't want that. Cheers!

I think that this section should be renamed Palestine/Occupied Palestinian territories. If we get a separate section called Palestine, the jews will intentionally harass us there.

The truth is that all the places the jews have gone they have earned nothing but hostility from the native populations, no wonder they were kicked out from the world over. Even today no one wants them around, we don't want them, the Europeans don't want them either, the Arabs don't want them, the Asians don't want them, the Africans don't want them, no one wants the jews around them.

The reason people pretend to support "israel" is just to keep as far away from themselves as possible. You know people sympathize with the Palestinians, but then they think that anything that keeps the jews away from them is good thus neglecting the Palestinians in the process. I agree that we are all selfish people, but then we wouldn't want the jews near us either.

I think we should email Yahoo Answers. It is a little biased, how they don't have a seperate section for Palestine.

You might have a very old map that shows the British mandated territory known at that time as Palestine. I have included a couple of sites that might be helpful. The second one shows Israel and the Palestinians territories of the West Bank and Gaza. I hope this has been of help to you.

If this section had anything to do with traveling (as its name implies)- you were right. People who want to ask questions about traveling to the Palestinian territories should have had a separate section.

But as a great portion of posters who ask "questions" and answer "answers" on this section only intend to taunt and slur Israel and Israelis (including your own question)- I don't see how a separate section would serve your purpose.

No but there should be a palestinian state. Don"t blame the jews. What has Assad in Syria done for palestinians? How has Lebanon or Ahmadinejad help the palestinians? Jews are the only ones who are trying to help the palestinians. Shimon Peres is a good guy who wants peace and not war.

In book publishing they usually use the term Israel-Palestine but I'd prefer to just have a separate section. Jews post really nasty,insulting crude "responses". I don't mind a person disagreeing with me but slime is slime.

Funny, when I look in Palestine-Israel on the map, I see little-tiny people always fighting eachother.
They are all very angry but they are so small and insignificant and under other circumstances I would laugh and keep on watching them fight, but ... they are killing eachother!!!

Palestine does not on mine. Does it have land boundaries? A capital, major cities and towns? An economy, a government? Its own currency, media?

Until it does it is not a country and is not on any map.
