Allan D is GAME OVER

Since USA unfairly support Israel, then why don't they give a part of their land to Palestinians, for PEACE ?

Israel is so tiny (22 000km2) , Palestinians want to recover a part of it, and there is islamic terrorism and israeli war crimes on civilians.
60 years after the birth of Israel state, there is still no peace.

USA always unconditionnaly support Israel (money and weapons), how unfair...

So why USA, that are such a huge country (9 826 630 km2, which represents 446 times the superficy of Israel!!!), don't give a liitle part of their lands?
What about 200 000 km2 from Arizona, New Mexico or Texas?
That would be a nice gesture by Americans, and everyone would be glad!
Israelis would be alone in Israel ( no more Hamas, no more Hezbollah), but of course Jerusalem would keep hosting religious pilgrims ( like Rome and Istanbul).
Palestinians would be happy because they would get 200 000 km2 and live peacefully.
And USA would have proved they are a great country, honoring George Washington , the Human Rights, the American Dream, Peace...

So, Palestinians and Israelis, what do you think?

Is my idea good?

ps : Mister President Obama, if you're reading this, your opinion would be appreaciated too...

Israel's ill-fitting position among Arab countries in the Middle East will only perpetuate its own sense of insecurity and encourage further development of military warfare. Even if it gets hold of all remaining bits of pieces of Palestinian land, the conflict will never end.

Since the US' supports for Israel is so unconditional even to the extent of funding Israel's war crimes, it is only decent to offer a piece of the big American continent for its beloved desperate friend and live up to the values it claims to uphold. That will make the Israelis, the Palestinians and the whole world very happy.

Perhaps it is because Jordan is Palestine. Palestine is Jordan.
This is the royal decree and sentiments of two of the kings of Jordan.

"Palestine and Jordan are one..." said King Abdullah in 1948.

"The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan," said King Hussein of Jordan, in 1981.

Let's closely examine the facts of history from the Arab perspective, rather than the Jewish one, regarding Jordan and Palestine.

"Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate," Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly was quoted as saying on February 2, 1970.

Accordingly, Abdul Hamid Sharif, Prime Minister of Jordan declared, in 1980, "The Palestinians and Jordanians do not belong to different nationalities. They hold the same Jordanian passports, are Arabs and have the same Jordanian culture."

In other words, Jordan is Palestine. Arab Palestine. There is absolutely no difference between Jordan and Palestine, nor between Jordanians and Palestinians (all actually Arabs).

This fact is also confirmed by other Arabs, Jordanians and 'Palestinans' who were either rulers or scholars.

"There should be a kind of linkage because Jordanians and Palestinians are considered by the PLO as one people," according to Farouk Kaddoumi, then head of the PLO Political Department, who gave the statement to Newsweek on March 14, 1977. Distinguished Arab-American Princeton University historian Philip Hitti testified before the Anglo-American Committee,

"There is no such thing as 'Palestine' in history."
According to Arab-American columnist Joseph Farah,
"Palestine has never existed - before or since - as an autonomous entity. It was ruled alternately by Rome, by Islamic and Christian crusaders, by the Ottoman Empire, and briefly by the British after World War I. The British agreed to restore at least part of the land to the Jewish people as their homeland. There was no language known as Palestinian. There was no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a Palestine governed by the Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc."
These authoritative, honest statements are by Arabs, Jordanians and Palestinians, and absolutely must be taken at their face value and word.
All right, so you're not quite into quotes. How about these tasteful tidbits of historical facts?

* Jews, not Arabs, have lived continuously in the ancient Biblical Promised Land of Israel, especially Judea and Samaria, for 3,700 years. This land was given as a gift by G-d to the Children of Israel (Hebrews, Israelites, Jews) and is so stated in all of the three monotheistic religions' holy books - Old Testament, New Testament and Quran. Faithful followers of Judaism, Christianity and Islam all believe in the same one G-d and therefore must believe the word of their G-d. G-d does not make and break his promises. There is a very valuable lesson to be learned by all his children and faithful followers.
* The current queen of Jordan is an Arab 'Palestinian'.

* Approximately half of Jordan's prime ministers since 1950 have been Arab 'Palestinians'.

* More than 2/3 of the Jordanian people are Arab 'Palestinians'.

* The majority of citizens residing in the capital of Amman are Arab 'Palestinians'.

* Arab 'Palestinians' constitute not less than one half of the members of the armed forces, according to the late King Hussein, as broadcast on Amman Radio February 3, 1973.

* The majority of other security forces are Arab 'Palestinians'.

* Jordan occupies 77% of the original Palestine Mandate (originally promised to the Jewish people). The population density of Jordan is less than 61 people per square mile leaving lots of room to absorb many more of their brethren and cousins.

Want to delve even deeper? Let's explore further. We all need to refresh our memory, as 'short-term syndrome' has taken over. Now for a little history lesson, for those who do not recall the reality of the past.
The British tried to placate the Arabs by giving them part of the land designated under the Palestine Mandate (originally allocated under the Balfour Declaration for the establishment of a Jewish homeland). Britain created an entirely new province by severing 77% of historic Palestine (and an additional 3% was also allocated to Syria), on the eastern bank of the Jordan River (some 35,000 square miles), and establishing the state of Transjordan.

Faisal, who had been King of Syria, was deposed by the French, so the British offered him the throne of Iraq, which he accepted. Faisal's brother Abdullah was installed as the new nation of Transjordan's ruler on April 1, 1921 (April Fool's Day), thereby completing the appeasement of Arab rulers.

During the Arab-Israeli war of 1948, in which nine Arab nations attacked Israel, they took control of the ancient bib

They already did. Jordan was for Palestinians. Then out of the remaining part it was split for Israel & for another Arab Palestinian state.

The Palestinians declined to build one. They were offered a two more times later on (one in 2000) & declined. They state their goal is ALL of Israel be destroyed & ONLY their Islamic state be there.

So, that's the problem.

Isn't Israel their homeland? I mean I thought the U.N. including America put them in that location taking it away from Pakistan. If they want peace they are going to have a hard time getting it. Me personally can't see why Pakistan is so uptight about it seeing as they've lived fine with their space for 60 years.

Salam Qatanani
Because U.S.A and Israel would never do this mistake` and leave the the arab land for the arabs!!! U.S.A wants to keep middle east under control by keeping and supporting the israeli to occupy more land, and by putting some arabic slaves for america in the position of lead.

Arabs will be very strong when they unite,,,and thats why america would never do that and give them the chance... american media is applying the word(TERRORISM) for every peace fighter in israel so that the american will always put in mind that Arabs=Muslims=Terror...and that is not true .

KD :D Go Canucks!!!
OH MY GOD. THAT'S WHAT I SAID THE FIRST TIME I HEARD HOW ISRAEL WAS CREATED. plaestine was already a relatively small country, then they cut it even smaller, so they could queeze in a few million people. doesn't make sense to me. whereas the US can obviously afford to give away a piece of its land, palestine cannot...
PS: bafrozo, it's palestine, not pakistan???

The US supports Israel because every nation on earth has a right to defend itself from daily barrages of incoming rockets!!!

The Palestinians do NOT WANT PEACE. They could have had a land of their own many times over in the past 60 years, but never ever accepted any peace proposals. What they want is the destruction of Isael and of all Jews. It's in the Hamas charter!!!!

Are Palestinians the first refugee population in history? Hardly. But they are surely the first refugees who, as a group, have categorically RESISTED RESETTLEMENT, instead living for decades as wards of the international community. Indeed, in Gaza today, years after Israel renounced any territorial claims, there continue to be refugee camps. Why? Why -- other than to serve as incubators for hatred that produce recruits bent on martyrdom and mayhem -- are there Palestinian refugee camps in Palestinian territory?

“We will have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.” Golda Meir 1957, before the National Press Club in Washington

We can forgive you for killing our sons. But we will never forgive you for making us kill yours. Golda Meir, to Anwar Saddat just before the peace talks. Israeli (Russian-born) politician (1898 - 1978)

The trust deficit is exacerbated by the fact that after Israel quit the Gaza Strip in 2005, Palestinians, instead of building Singapore there, built Somalia and focused not on how to make microchips, but on how to make rockets to hit Israel. Thomas Friedman
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/04/opinion/04friedman.html?em&ex=1212811200&en=1ca1f27e6a40c673&ei=5070

The difference between Israel and the terrorists is clear: Israelis endanger themselves to protect their civilians. Terrorists endanger their own civilians to protect themselves. Where alone in the Middle East is there an Arab middle class of sorts? Where do Arabs have good schools? And where is there adequate medical care? -- Ask the over one million Palestinians who live in a democratic Israel.

I believe in the Declaration of Human Rights that gives every nation people the legitimate right to establish self-governance and self-determination.

Every nation people has a beginning, a homeland. For the Jews, Israel is that land. It is a part of the very identity of the covenant nation, our eternal tie to the land of our patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and to our mothers, Sarah, Rivkah and Rachel.
The modern state of Israel does not need to base it’s legitimacy on a belief of promise from God, even though many claim that is it’s only reason for legitimacy. For centuries, Jews have been working to reestablish the national homeland through legitimate means and the course of the development of the state of Israel certainly reflects this process. The hard-earned efforts of Israel to gain statehood stand as an example, if people would study it, rather than the often so bizarre it borders on insane propaganda spread about it. The facts invalidate the charges by extremist voices who would attempt to negate the right of the nation people, Israel to exist in the home LAND of Israel.

Israel's status as a legitimate, democratic nation state today depends as much if not more so on the process of law and adherence to protocol that it took to form the state for it's nation people according to the UN Definitions and how it indeed, became a legitimate state legally recognized by the UN Charter, to take it's legitimate place in the council of nations. It exists as legitimately as the United States of America or any other member nation. The Jewish people had been working to reestablish sovereignty in the homeland centuries before the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America had been proclaimed against Britain.
No other nation on the planet would have been as restrained as Israel has been in trying to protect its very existence for 60 years of onslaught. Israel dedicated itself to working with the nations surrounding it to establish a peaceful Middle East in its Declaration of Independence. Look at the charters for Hamas and for the PLO. They contain direct statements dedicated to genocidal elimination of Israel. Only when their desire to build a nation in peace is greater than their desire to destroy Israel will they live and work toward that peace. Israel is ready.

A simple search engine can show anyone interested how many BILLIONS of dollars of humanitarian aide has been given to Gaza AND the West Bank in the past decade. If my home state that is more than a hundred times larger in land area had half that much our highways and bridges would not be so dilapidated.
The focus must be on stopping the efforts to eliminate Israel and to support efforts to achieve statehood for Palestine, integrate the refugees into a Palestinian nation, support the nations that now house refugees to help them become self-sufficient and grant them legal status! Going into a third generation as political pawns is ENOUGH! (Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Egypt are all where the world's focus for the pitiable status of their refugees should have been all along)
I have seen photographs of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon with captions that lay direct blame on their CONDITION to ISRAEL as if Israel could control how they are being abused and used by their Muslim Arab brethren as propaganda tools and pawns! Where are the many millions of dollars that Arafat confiscated that should have been used for their benefit? Where are the 22 Muslim nations reaching out to their brethren? Would they rather continue to use them to destroy Israel than build their own Palestinian nation that should have existed already for 60 years? AT least this is the message it gives to the world at large, IF and WHEN that message is not continually drowned out with the cry of "Israeli aggression and oppression".

One example alone shows how efforts to help Palestinians are overlooked and undermined. This did not even make a byline in my local newspaper when it happened..
U.S. Jews raised 14 million dollars of private money to help the economy in Gaza and what did it get the Palestinians? Greenhouses that once had employed several thousand people and were to be the cornerstone of helping the Gaza economy, Gazans trashed within hours of their taking possession. (Was this so Israel could be laid to blame for their unemployment again?).
The future of the next generation depends on education and preparation to become independent and productive citizens. There are seven institutions of higher learning in Gaza alone that comprises a smaller land mass than my home county. In my home state, an area surrounding me that is three times larger, encompassing two counties only has three such institutions of higher learning and one of those three is a two year community college. Yet the Palestinian youth are always presented as having no future. There are a higher percentage of Gazans with at least some university education than of people in my home state with any college education! The attendance in secondary schools in Gaza and the West Bank is over 40 percent. My home state of Arkansas has less than half that percentage and we are not in refugee "camps".
"Arkansas is next to the lowest in the percent of adults with a bachelor’s degree, (17 percent). This compares with 20.3 percent for the south and 25.1 percent for the nation. (Taylor and Franklin, 2003)." from a link I'll give below. (The low rate of a higher education here is directly related to the fact that most simply cannot AFFORD to pay for a university education and despite scholarship and financial aide the costs have made it very difficult to obtain and I think this is shameful)

However, here, rather than speak to the abysmal level of higher education at home, I want to focus on the Middle East, the Palestinian territories, the disputed territories and the state of Israel.

Who is funding their education? Oslo and Wye accords anyone? US tax dollars have spent millions there and continue to fund the education of many of those who have strapped bombs to themselves in "desperation"

What kind of education are they getting there if they are being taught the lie that Israel “took” more than 70 percent of Palestine? Jordan was created from 82% of Palestine!

They want to claim that Jordan isn't the "land" of Palestine when figuring land mass percentage, yet when figuring the number of people who have the "right" to call themselves Palestinians; they have no qualms of using people who lived in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in British Mandate Palestine to represent the numbers of Palestinians. The designation of Palestinian refugee according to the UN can be conferred on anyone who lived in the disputed territories for only two years! What other refugee group has such designation?

Did those living in Gaza when Egypt controlled it cry out that Egypt was an "occupying nation"?

If one wants to focus on false claims or aims of Israel to try to take over the middle east, rather than simply living in peace alongside every other nation as Israel has been trying to do since statehood began, then you are focused on the wrong place and are taking efforts away from solutions.

The Palestinian people have BECOME a unified people and as such DESERVE a homeland; however, it cannot displace the state of Israel. I pray for the day when their passion and desire to be a unified people is focused on nation BUILDING rather than neighboring nation destruction.

Where are voices of reason?

Why are all efforts of genuine HELP to nation build destroyed? Why is money earmarked to educate to help them build a nation used to teach them to hate and demonize the U.S. and Israel?
Peace can only be obtained when enough people DEMAND that it happens by and recognizing the humanity of each other. Israel is a legitimate state whose nation and has a legitimate right to exist. The Palestinian people exist and deserve a state; they are a people without a legitimate state right now ONLY because more effort has been spent to demonize Israel than help THEM! Recognizing this reality and having Israeli and Palestinian work side by side to solve this is the only solution I can see.

Fabrications of an agenda that Israel and the Jews are out to conquer the world must stop.

Read the Hamas charter and then tell me I am demonizing the Palestinian with my statements. Read the PLO charter. They are available online in entirety.
Read the Constitution and Declaration of Independence of Israel and tell me who is committed to promotion of peace in the region with their neighbors. Who is even willing to acknowledge that the right of their neighbors to EXIST! It certainly isn't Hamas and the PLO..until that happens, I don't see peace happening

The First Dragon
Israel has its own country. There is no reason for it to seek land elsewhere.
Since Palestinians have Jordan, Syria, West Bank and Gaza, I don't understand why they don't leave Israel alone.

It is rare to encounter so many misstatements in such a short text.

We will answer a few:

Britain gave 80 percent of Palestine to the Arabs in 1917: Transjordan, which is now called Jordan. In 1948 they tried to give half of the remainder to form an Arab Palestinian state, but Egypt and Jordan took that part for themselves. The Arabs (not the Jews) had no need for another Arab state in the area.

The Arab states have 200 square kilometers of land for every square kilometer of Israel. Now why don't THEY give some land to their Palestinian brothers?

Could it be that they don't like them?

.

Steel Rain
Why don't the Jordanians or the Egyptians give the Gazans some land for a Palestinian state instead since they are their Muslim brothers?
