yes it does, “Nobody does Israel any service by proclaiming its 'right to exist.'
Israel's right to exist, like that of the United States, Saudi Arabia and 152 other states, is axiomatic and unreserved. Israel's legitimacy is not suspended in midair awaiting acknowledgement....
There is certainly no other state, big or small, young or old, that would consider mere recognition of its 'right to exist' a favor, or a negotiable concession.”A common misperception is that all the Jews were forced into the Diaspora by the Romans after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the year 70 C.E. and then, 1,800 years later, suddenly returned to Palestine demanding their country back. In reality, the Jewish people have maintained ties to their historic homeland for more than 3,700 years.
The Jewish people base their claim to the Land of Israel on at least four premises: 1) the Jewish people settled and developed the land; 2) the international community granted political sovereignty in Palestine to the Jewish people; 3) the territory was captured in defensive wars and 4) God promised the land to the patriarch Abraham.
Even after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem and the beginning of the exile, Jewish life in the Land of Israel continued and often flourished. Large communities were reestablished in Jerusalem and Tiberias by the ninth century. In the 11th century, Jewish communities grew in Rafah, Gaza, Ashkelon, Jaffa and Caesarea.
The Crusaders massacred many Jews during the 12th century, but the community rebounded in the next two centuries as large numbers of rabbis and Jewish pilgrims immigrated to Jerusalem and the Galilee. Prominent rabbis established communities in Safed, Jerusalem and elsewhere during the next 300 years. By the early 19th century — years before the birth of the modern Zionist movement — more than 10,000 Jews lived throughout what is today Israel.1 The 78 years of nation-building, beginning in 1870, culminated in the reestablishment of the Jewish State.
Israel's international "birth certificate" was validated by the promise of the Bible; uninterrupted Jewish settlement from the time of Joshua onward; the Balfour Declaration of 1917; the League of Nations Mandate, which incorporated the Balfour Declaration; the United Nations partition resolution of 1947; Israel's admission to the UN in 1949; the recognition of Israel by most other states; and, most of all, the society created by Israel's people in decades of thriving, dynamic national existence. |

Your question does not make any sense. The right of Israel to exist has nothing to do with the occupation of US lands previously occupied by the Aboriginal people. Who did the Aboriginal people steal it from? For all we know, they may have conquered the land themselves, and driven out or killed off the previous occupiers.
We cannot rewrite history. There was horror and cruelty and injustice in the settlement of America, as indeed there was in any other territorial expansion before or since.
Your question annoys me. You should show a little respect, and use a capital letter on "Palestinians".
The land we now know as Israel has been occupied and conquered over and over again since the dawn of time.
Israel is a nation. It has the right to exist. That does NOT mean that the Israeli government is not guilty of acts that would shame Hell.
I'm Canadian. My parents were born here. My friend just took her citizenship oath last month. Does that make her less of a Canadian than I am? My friend is French Canadian, and he can trace is Canadian ancestry back to the early 1600's. Am I less Canadian than him? Is he less Canadian than the Aboriginal people?
Your question does not indicate the intelligence that I have no doubt you actually have.
For the benefit of the previous answerer, there was greater religious tolerance and freedom under the Moorish rule in Europe than there was later when the Christians took over. There was no picking on the Jews, for one thing.
Furthermore, I take issue with the racist tone of the references to Arabs. Their contributions to science, the arts, and medicine were spectacular. Think of that you next time you write down a phone number--in Arabic numerals. When you write a name beside the phone number, think of the Roman alphabet--the one used by the conquerers of the entire known world.
In any case, neither your question nor that answer is conducive to harmonious relations between Jews and Muslims. |

Yes Israel has the right to exsist.. From your question it is apparent you know very little about history..Your question is nonsensical ..What does the American Indian have to do with Israel.? I know what you are trying to say..do you ? You need to do a little research on your subject.. |

America needs to give the land back to their rightful owners, LA RAZA. But I will settle for Mount Rushmore. Native Americans don't believe in land ownership so in theory they will share it with all of us.
As far as Israel, the middle east is the homeland of a number ethnic groups. Many jews are actually of Spanish descent. Spain is a much nicer place to live. I dont know why Eastern European Jews left their homeland and never returned. After Hitler was kicked out, wasn't it safe to return? |

Nope, you don't deserve to exist.
You should go back to where you came from because your NOT wanted in Palestine. Palestinians want to live in Peace, but unfortunately.. there is no way that will happen while you people are around. |

Jews were in Israel long before Islam. |

Of course Israel has a right to exist. Israel has existed as a nation even prior to when most people only recognize her as a modern state. The modern state is 60 years old now. People just are so modernized and don't "think outside the box" when they consider other peoples as a nation. As far as America giving back land, we don't go back in time like that, no people do.
To Pagan Dan: Muslims and Jews living in Andalusia "peacefully" is questionable by scholars, there is no decisive opinion agreed by all, so I'm going to correct your statements. I am on the side of the camp (with Kismet and scholars) that says that since Jews were treated poorly by Muslims prior to Andalusia, and immediately following Andalusia, that there was never a safe haven in Andalusia for Jews to cohabit with Muslims as you suggest. History also shows that Jews were treated very poorly (understatement) in Arab lands.
Also, as far as demanding respect for Palestinians, please also respect Jewish people, by condemning them of acts without a trial is inappropriate.
"That does NOT mean that the Israeli government is not guilty of acts that would shame Hell."
And since we're talking a religious Hell, which you as a Pagan and me as a Jew don't believe in, I'll also consider that statement a disrespectful display of one's hateful opinion. |

so, if someone steals something, that would make it right for other to steal, yes??
well, at least you are admitting of the crime, not living in denial.
for your Q.
no "Israel" doesn't have any right to exist.
when they stole Palestine, they thought that we will be like the native Indians, but after 60 years, we are still fighting, and we will fight as long as it takes to get it back from them.
the Crusaders took it for more than 90 years, and we took it back.
it is just a matter of time, it is in their books and it is in ours.
“…it is forbidden for any Jew to set foot upon the grounds of the Temple Mount, until the coming of the righteous Moshiach (Messiah)...”
"Because you have defiled the land, it will spew you forth" (Leviticus 18.28)
ACCORDING TO THE JEWISH FAITH AND TORAH LAW THE JEWISH PEOPLE ARE FORBIDDEN TO HAVE THEIR OWN STATE WHILE AWAITING THE MESSIANIC ERA!
The Creator gave us the Holy Land thousands of years ago. Yet, when we sinned, He took it away and sent us into exile. Since that time our task is to wait for Him to send the Messiah. At that time, the Creator alone, without any human being lifting a hand or saying a word, will bring us together and take us out of exile. He will likewise establish universal peace among all mankind and all will serve Him in good will.
Some religious Jews, confused by Zionist propaganda quote Biblical verses that state that G-d gave the children of Israel the Holy Land. They overlook, unfortunately,The Creator has commanded every Jew to follow the ways of peace and to be loyal to the country where he lives.

So, the Americans conquered the land from the aboriginals, who were busy conquering land from each other, tribe versus tribe. Oh, those horrible Americans.
Sorry, pal, most nations start by someone conquering someone else. Grown-ups know this.
If I say you stole money from me, would you automatically give me the money?
Here's an idea: read a book. |

America was large and sparsely populated. It was not necessary to drive out the indigenous population; there are more Native Americans now than one hundred years ago. Plus, they weren't disenfranchised; they enjoy full rights and citizenship as their birthright. There is really no comparison. We didn't go to let us say,France or Turkey and drive out the entire population and destroy their homes. In fact, right now we have occupied Iraq - but we are not expelling the Iraqis from their homes and turning them over to American "settlers". That's exactly what your people did in 1948 and 1967. If that was the IDF instead of the USG you'd be busy as beavers converting it into yet another oops I overlooked it at first but yes by golly now that you mention it that IS another chunk of the Promised Land. Americans have no desire to expel the Iraqis and fill the place with Americans and then annex it. But then,we aren't a racial state. There is no linkage between ethnicity and citizenship. |

No; Palestine has a right to political self-determination. There is no reason to exclude jews. There is no reason to exclude Muslims. There is no reason why Palestine should not have a normal government. |

America (US) is a democratic country where all its inhabitants enjoy same rights and opportunities, while zionist state is occupation project set to practice apartheid analogy against the native people and to prevent any Arabic and Islamic unity... |
