South Africa, hands down. No doubt about that. I've visited both SA and Aus and i can certainly tell you that South Africa is far more stunning than australia.
It has beautiful beaches, breathetaking table mountains and landscape, crystal clear sea and a great climate all year round, not to mention all species of animals, dolphins, penguins, great white sharks..etc.
There are also stunning homes, mansions and villas. Australia is more of a desert island which lack alot of what SA has. I also found the "aussie" accent quite annoying. South Africa is also more diverse and has greater scenery. |

I have travelled around SA, Oz and NZ and without a doubt I can say SA.
It´s geographically, culturally and climatically more compact and diverse than most countries in the world.
However, if only we didn´t have the crime issue. |

Definitely South Africa. I have lived in both countries and SA has got more natural beauty becoz of the environment and climate. Australia is a flat land its in drought at the moment the beaches are pretty but nothing compared to those in South Africa. |

This is not easy to answer. Both countries have got have got their own beauty but they also have got lots in common. I personally prefer SA because of the wildlife and Table Mountain particular. It is easier to get around. One can see more in shorter period of time in SA. Weather, hmm, it can get cold in Winter, some places do get snow. I am not much of a beach person. My preference is bush and mountains. My choice would be South Africa. |

In terms of natural beauty, both countries have their own merits, I would say however that South Africa would come out slightly better due to the massive variety of wildlife and shorter travelling distances.
However, in Australia, you could actually enjoy the tourist attractions without the fear of being murdered, raped, sodomised or mugged.
Crime in SA is rife and the ruling communist ANC government does little more than turn a blind eye. |

Australia of course. Don't take any notice of the previous answer. There are so much more to see than just kangaroos.
Natural beauty - we got such a variety, from tropical rainforest to vast deserts and snow field and majestic moutains. We have enough beaches to wrap around South Africa more than three times. People are great. Unique flora and fauna like you will never imagine. Weather? We have hot tropics, sundrenched sweeping plains, snow at the high peaks in winter, temperate and cool climate high country for great wine growing.
There is so much here to see and do... so, where the bloody hell are ya? |
