Yum yum. I also like fried liver, kidneys and onions with pap. Bull, you will be surprised to know that pap is actually tasty when you stop smoking and the taste buds recovered.

Fried egg with pap... (oh dear, then I must be normal)... I enjoyed that when I was younger. Nothing like pap with braai...hmmmm!!!

Long gravy does not sound as good as "'n lang sous". I love pap, but it must be stywe pap and tomato and onion stew.....my Free State mother ensured that.

I usually put my pap in a seperate bowl and then eat all my other food. I then cover my pap with milk, sugar and butter in large quantities and have a feast. It's my dessert.

Yes i love 'stywe pap' and tomato and onion gravy - braaivleis is not the same without it, though i love a cheese, tomato and onion sandwich done on the braaier as well

ok ... but keep the pap, I have never liked that stuff!

And could I trade my wors for a nice piece of steak? I make a great tomato/onion/green pepper sauce. Its thick and chunky.

Any cooked dish featuring "Pap" is in my opinion effectively ruined and destined for my dustbin.
The long tomatoe/onion gravy is good though.
