First off, the U.N. did not "create" Israel in 1948 nor at any other time.

Israel unilaterally declared its independence from Palestine at the end of the British mandate over Palestine.

Furthermore, the U.N. is not in the business of "eliminating" states. And quite frankly, the word "eliminate" is particularly distasteful.

I believe so; they can take away it's seat in the UN and recognition under international law. They have no capacity to militarily force their decisions regarding territory but if the UN were to officially declare Israel a rogue state it would encounter problems of a severe nature,particularly with trade relations since they could no longer even operate a merchant fleet. You have to be a recognized state to register ships with the International Maritime Commission.

No, the UN cannot even reprimand Israel without the United States using it's veto power.
The United States has given Israel a free hand to do whatever they please to whoever they desire, including the atrocities to the Palestinian civilians, and the never ending violation of human rights laws.
Israel is probably the only country in the world that has to answer to no one, and that includes an attack against the United States, as evidenced by the incident with the USS Liberty.

Israel has been the only country so far that was constituted by a UN resolution over a land inhabited by a different ethnicity . the claim for making such a move was that those people ( the jews ) lived there 2000 years before . the legitemacy of Israel stemmed from that deciosen , but israel since then didnt abide to any following decision made by UN . all other decions like 242 and 338 were supposed to give more legitmacy to the israeli existance by making irae4l withdraw from here and there and then have peace on the principle of land for peace . that didnt happen because the hunger for land overwhelmed anything else . so now it is clear that for israel to diffuse the arab - israeli conflict they need to make too many things while i think that the time is too late now for any real solutions . and what can the israelis do is just to wait for conseqences of what they done in 60 years .
i remeber when israel with its armies of lawyers and their western supporetes struck a peace deal with Yasser Arafat . everybody was happy that at last peace was reached , but we did know very little . the next day Colonel Qaddafi threw out from lybia tens or hundreds of thousands of Palastinians , saying to them : palastine is free now , so go back home . and for many weeks they suffered on the borders of Egypt . of course israel will not let them in , because the peace deal didnt say anything about them and their case is supposed to be discussed in the trend called : the last phases , which is supposed to come years after peace . of course nobody beleives that . and the arab - israeli conflict was never solved . and it will never be if the palastian refugees suffering was not put to end before any other phase . other than that it is just an illusion of peace . I just hope no much money and effort is paid to solve this problem if this refugees problem was not solved first because all other efforts will be in vain . and you may remember what i say now .

Unfortunately the US controls the UN. They UN can and has ruled zion as acting illegally but zion will not disband on request.

It is going to take something significantly more authoritative to stop zion's illegal activities; and bring peace to the Middle East.

What everyone wants is some peace and quiet on that land for once.
