I wanted to be a scientist, then at some stage a movie director, 'til of course I discovered computers. Right now I'm working as a data analyist (which is hard but enjoyable), but I'm itching to start my own computer business once I get off numbers and graphs.

I got over the trauma quite quickly though, in the next couple of years I wanted to be everything from a fire(wo)man to an archeologist or paleantologist. My true ambition however is to become a mad scientist and take over the world. Mwhahahahahahaahaa.

Wanted to have my own business and was lucky to achieve that , had a very good clothing factory in Cape Town for 10 yrs but eventually the dream died because of labour unrest closed down and i am now working for a large importer instead based in China, still want to start up something again back home for my son's future anyway still a dream.

Yes, I wanted to be a teacher, I became a teacher..... but no thanks, I left that "profession" to others!

I wanted to become a doctor, but then I got scared that I might not be able to make it. I wanted to save lives. Now, I'm into forensics, trying to save the dignity of the dead. The turnabout was really quite crazy. Sometimes I feel as though I might go crazy, but someone has to do it.

I don't know when or how I lost interest.
Grade 10 my science project was on the hypotheses of the Universe.
I never had so much fun doing a school project.

I never owned a telescope though but still I read a lot about the stars.

Maybe I lost interest because I had read most of the stuff and as you know new discoveries come like once every 5 years.

I was also interested in Ancient Egypt, Creece and Rome,
but more on Egypt.

I think I am an undercover geek.

The one thing I wanted to be? Well sir, I wanted to be the best damn thing to happen to America since George Washington. He planted a beautiful garden that is unfortunately overgrown with weeds and guess what? It's pickin' time.

I always used to answer the "What do you want to be when you grow up" question either as, "Alive" or "Happy".

Since right now I am both I can honestly say my dreams came true!

I wanted to play the piano/organ for Church.
That never happened because my Father passed away before he could buy me a piano and have lessons. :(
