Yeah i think you can consider them as fruit, when Christopher Colombus brought back tomatoes to the New World the Italians name it pomo di moro which later became pomodoro which was mistranslated as apple of gold, perhaps a possible explanation to the fruit/vegetable mystery lol!

i consider it breakfast.... i drink fruits sometimes... but i don't drink tomato juice.. if there's such thing.. i eat ketchup with the fries as well as yogurt lol... OMG.. fries with yogurt are the best thing ever.. :) it's so delicious.. my sis doesn't like it but i do... i do ..

so i drink fruits' juices.. apple, mango, pineapple, orange, chocolate :) .. but i don't drink tomato juice.. it use tomato sauce with food and it's vegetable to me..

to me, it is a vegetable because it goes along with what I liked and disliked as a kid. Bananas, apples, oranges, Cherry's, strawberries, blueberry's, and the other good stuff were fruits. The no no foods were the vegetables like salad, carrots, beats, rhubarb, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, and tomatoes, and so on....

They are scientifically considered a fruit, but I consider them a veggie since they are mostly used with vegetables and other places where you use veggies. They're not as sweet as a fruit either.

By the definition of the word, they are fruit - I think it's because they have seeds. But most people consider them veggies because they go in salads with other veggies.
