It is an interesting question you ask when you say "why is everyone against Israel". the vast majority support Israel and condemn Hamas.

Civilians do die in any war, and it populated areas such as Gaza, those casualties will be high and often unavoidable.

Jews did NOT take Arab land. The Jews arrived there thousands of years ago, taking the land from many nations and provinces and destroying them in totality as instructed by God. (The Promised Land). In fact, had the Jews continues to take all the land as promised to them, they would have taken what is now the Arab nations as well.

However, that being said, the Jews destroyed all the enemies in their wake, leaving no displaced people.

Centuries later and after numerous wars and occupations, the Jews lost their homeland to invaders. The British division of the Arab lands to form new countries. In doing so, they recreated or perhaps the correct term is reunited the Jews into their homeland.

While it might be said the Jews were wrong all those thousands of years ago in taking the land, the people they took it from no longer exist and therefore nobody has a greater claim of right today than the Jews themselves.

Because as you say Jewish people felt they "needed" a land and so they took what they wanted - whatever the cost to the rightful owners.

Israel shouldn't even exist, It was founded on stolen land and the owners are angry. If the jews needed land, they should have been given a less populated, remote area, far from the middle east.

Israel bombing UN schools and compounds only creates enemies around the world. Most people are also finding out how most Palestinians are badly treated under Israeli occupation.

Ten victims in ten years does not justify the wholesale slaughter of more than 1,000 people. I sincerely hope your little Tel Aviv gets the same treatment as Gaza City has,and I hope it happens soon. No ethnic group "needs" a "country" ; that is sheer racsism. A modern society is multicultural and non-discriminatory. perhaps America should declare itself an Anglo-Saxon State and drive out anyone who isn't Anglo-Saxon on his or her mother's side going back four generations. Everyone is not against Israel. Only the Arabs who kicked 95% of the Jews out of their mega portion of the territory and now demand the right to kick the rest off that tiny portion so they can destroy what's left of the Holy Land.

But, my biggest concern for Israel right now is not the Gaza situation but what Obama has up his sleeve. Like many Israeli's I have a feeling whatever it is, it will not be good for America or Israel.

I'm not against nor support them, because i don't really know how it started because what i'm hearing at this point is a punch of propaganda. From what i've known from his-tory and the present, i do agree that israel should fight the people of Gaza because they are shotting and bombing Israel. Israel is looking bad in certain people, who doesn't know the whole history about whats happening over there, eyes because its a very develop country and Gaza isn't. Some people might just hate isael because its a jewish nation. BUT any way, i hope this whole fighting end soon because i'm seeing a lot of kids hurting and thats a really sad image.

It is a combination of old fashioned anti semitism and very slick PR by the Palestinians. Do not worry however because there are still a lot of us out here who support Israel and its right to exist. Israel's army will ensure that the same thing does not happen now as happened in Europe in the 20th century to the Jewish people.
