The most romantic place for me is the place were I first realised that I was in love. It was up on the roof of my now husbands hotel and to remember the night still makes my heart flutter.
We were just sitting there on a late summers night listening to music and gazing across the Nile at the lights of Luxor shimmering in the water. The cruise boats were all lit up and the Luxor Temple floodlit. The only sound other than the music was the frogs in the canal and you could smell the flowers and the mint wafting up from the garden.
I was thinking to myself this is just like I want Paradise to be like.
When we suddenly turned and looked at each other and both burst out laughing.From that moment I knew I was in love.
My most adventurous time was when we went to Uganda.
I wanted to see where the Nile began so we went for a holiday to Lake Victoria.
My husband loves extreme sports,its likely him you will see free falling with his friends out of a plane if you are out at the Valley of the Kings , somehow I found myself agreeing to accompany him and our Ugandan friends white water rafting.
The place sounds lovely "Rafters Paradise" but that is a very deceptive name, it was absolutely wild.
Five of us in an inflatable dingy ,while we had life jackets and crash helmets on it was the most stimulating and yet terrifying experience I could have ever imagined experiencing..
Our dingy was soon totally out of control and our little orange paddles useless and we were just at the mercy of the rapids as the river boulders went flashing by us.
When we finally got to the end of the "run" and got out of our little inflatable craft, my knees were totally weak and would not stop shaking even after we had got into the car and were on the way back to the hotel.

Any place can be romantic as long as you are with the one you love. However, there are certainly places that can add to the atmosphere! Depends on your personal taste I think.

For me some of my favorite memories with hubby were under extreme weather! One time we went for a walk on the corniche in Alex eating baskin robins as it rained cats and dogs! Another was a walk after midnight during a snow storm , throwing snow balls at each other! hehehe ... I also loved that isolated bench under the tree in Que gardens feeding the swans ....*sigh*! Memories!

Romantic-Castle Danger, MN.(stayed at a couples Inn a few years ago and felt like I went back in time, it was so beautiful and peaceful, and Ive never really been anywhere real cool when I was in a relationship. Cancun and Jamaica dont count as I was single and drunk all the time).
Adventurous-New Zealand.(Had the most exciting and scary time of my life there, this country has everything. Mountains, deep valleys, great white sharks, crazy drunk locals, it was a goodtime.

Sat on the beach looking out onto the red sea in Sharm at night. Where my boyfriend told me he loved me for the first time.

I can't think of somewhere adventurous that i have been to i don't alot adventure.
