Yup! I had to stay for a whole month at the mountains ! Didn't even have enough clothes for a month ! we were up for the weekend lol my dad had to go to beirut during the bombing to get our stuff ='( It was the worst month ever !! |

Yes. I spent 2 weeks sleeping by the door, half asleep half awake, I thought if a bomb hit my building maybe it would take away half the building and not the centre where my door was , I would be ok. Every noise, car, tractor , became a plane noise. It was as if it was not real. I was in a waking dream. War is really really horrible. Peace! |

YES it was creepy days we had a plan to stay till August. We were at Beirut and my older brother is in college for summer something so as it started my mom said it's only going to be few days don't worry but things got worse and all people were leaving but then they hit the airport. The Saudi Embassy was located in a hotel next, we went to Syria by buses and from their airport to home. It was a hard time for everyone
I really hope peace for Lebanon it's my second home!! |

yea, Bhamdoun (worked there), then Beirut where I live then Bsharreh (mu cousins have a house there) then Beirut again... LOL pretty much not the best summer in my life.. we suffered of black dust months after.. even at winter 07.. it was horrible, I pity those who were closer to the bombs and who were directly affected... Amzingly, I wasn't scared, I ws only sad and angry..
edit: LOL at MNG, same happened to me when I went to my uncle's -> cousins', I had plans to stay up for just a week till it gets better, but then the main road or bridge that leads to that area got bombed and I had to wash my things and wear them again, just like the old days when ladies went to do laundry by the river LOL not exactly haha |

yah. We whhere in akhara. They threw a bomb at 6 in the morning and woke us up and there's was this huge bomb and it shoke our houses floor. They bombed ghazi and I was scared because that's where my uncle lives. |

running from place to place..had to leave my house ...run to syria...that even sucked more...so we went back to keserwan....got bombedthere...and then when the war is over they call us from the canadian embassy saying that our visas are ready.......that was fun! |

Yes, it was my first time there........despite many warnings from friends at iJet that it was too dangerous to go. Unfortunately, I trusted my husband and his family. We were bombed at the airport that morning......we were supposed to be the first flight out. I was never so scared in all of my life. We left through Syria into Jordan. I honestly don't know how people handle living like that. I was so happy to be back on American soil. I will never go back and risk our lives like that ever again. |
