Funny, i was thinking about this yesterday, wondering why i was with this strange person i married. I realised that for all the things he dosnt do, the things he does out weighs them, like his kindness, companionship, the love he shows me, & the support he gives.
I guess if your with the right person, then thats all there is to it. If your not, then thats sad.

Course i just asked him what he thought was the best thing about marriage & he said the s*x, lol, just typical.

I think marriage as a whole is a life style.. It changes alot.. the place you live, the people you used to wake up seeing, your priorities and so on.. and so since it is a whole new life it will have some good days and some bad days.. you have to enjoy the good days and get through the bad, like you do in life generally.. I think you also have to accept each other if you love each other and look past the silly quirks.. you'll fight and have moments of total doubt that this person is right for you, you'll have moments of regret but then again if you really love each other you'll have amazing make up sex, lol..

Its just life.. any big decision you have to make comes with moments of doubt, regret, sadness, fear, happiness, excitement, love, joy,... marriage is all that.. best part you decide what it is.. it differes from one person to the other.. but for me.. I think its the feeling of having some one and the feeling of growing old with some one.. if you dont have love for the person you're marrying then I think you should wait because without love.. marriage will turn into this big silly meaningless life style!

Knowing that there is someone who loves you,and needs you to make their life complete and that you feel the same way.
Having someone there to share the good times and comfort you in the sad times.
Just knowing that he will be there beside you when you wake up each morning and that there is nowhere else on earth that he would rather be than right by your side.I cannot image life without him being there for me and sometimes that gets a little scary.
I love that my husband is proud of me and respects my opinions and gives me support, allowing me to pursue my career and choose my own friends both male and female.
Knowing my love for Egypt someone once asked if I married my husband just because he was Egyptian. To me my Salah is not just my Egypt,he is also my world,moon and stars and I feel so blessed that he came into my life. .

I think if you trust God to bring along that compatible mate, I think marriage life can be great to share your life with somebody who you love because of the support, the activities you can enjoy with each other, communication and other privileges of marriage. Of course there are times where there will be some problems but I believe it's a matter of how you handle those issues, which can be opportunities to deepen the relationship.
