I was in Libya and I lost my money.. My Salary, for a whole month.. second month for me there.. I found only 20 Dinars left at home.. I decided to live on bread & salt only for a whole month.

I used to buy my grocery from a store there.. The owner, was a Pakistani guy "Asif"; He realized after three or four days that I don't buy anything from him any more.. So he stopped me once and said:

"Have I cheated in the scale or did anything wrong"? I explained to him that he didn't do anything but I've enough grocery.. and one day.. a British man working with me.. told him the story.. That i lost my money.. I found him visiting my flat "up his store" with looooooooots of grocery, canned food, and stuff; saying:

"When you have money, pay me.. Muslims are brothers.. If I came to your country and lost my money, wont you help me?"

Then he left...

After that; I bought everything I needed from him untill I left Libya and I'll never forget him...

Edit:

No my sister, that's what we think because we are not united.. But the messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و السلام said:

"The Good shall remain as a part of my nation till doomsday لا يزال الخير في أمتي إلي يوم القيامة".

Salla Allaho Alayhe wa Sallam...

My husband was a great support through my difficult pregnancy. He assumed the man and woman's duties around the house and also took care of me while on complete bed-rest. He cooked and fed me, did the laundry, cleaned the house, gave me my medicine etc etc etc, and he did that all by himself with no external help.
Now we are blessed with a baby girl and because I am ill, he feeds her, changes her diapers, gives her a bath etc etc.
May God bless him and keep him safe for us.

Once, I had an accident where I was hit by a car. My wife took a 3 months leave and stayed beside me to look after me. She treated me and pampered me like a baby and she was very influential in removing the agony off my shoulder. God bless her and keep her safe for me and my kids.

aww, u have such nice answers here!

I was working in a bookstore in USA of course wearing my beautiful hijab. A racist loser of a lady refused to let me help her out just because I am a Muslim. She headed to an American friend next to me who happened to be a very dear friend of mine. My caucasian friend refused to help her out and told her she's my friend and we do not support racism here. she had to go out of the bookstore without buying anything cuz no one would ring her up.hehe she got what she deserved.

There are lot's of people in my life who have been very kind to me. I can never forget my friend Marie. Whenever I was absent in college she would photocopy the lectures I missed and bring them to me the next day without me ever asking her to do so. She was a sweet heart and was loved by all. Her extreme kindness made us all worry about her ability to survive in the real world out there. She is now a nun and lives sheltered in the convent.

My late mother in law, God rest her soul, was also among the kindest people I have ever seen in my life. She was a friend whom I could tell anything and was always there for me when I needed her. Allah yir7amha.

I'd also have to say my parents who have taught me everything I know and have instilled me with the morals and beliefs which I follow in my life. My dear sis is also always there for me, ya rab mat7irimsh minhom.

The sweetest and most beloved to me is when I'm in pain and my darling daughter "kisses the pain away". Rabina yi7'alihaly hiya and hubby.

Edit:
Little Egyptian Princess, sweetie don't you know that you and your mom are greatly loved by lots of us here? You are kind and decent people who deserve all the best. As Rana said, the concern expressed by lots of us here was only natural. You are constantly in my prayers. May Allah help your mother regain her health and strength soon ISA and bring joy to your family.

well, it's not easy to choose one thing. But i'll say the first thing that came to mind.
It happened when i was a child (fe ebteda3y). I was ill and didn't go to school for some time. One of my teachers noticed i was absent for several days and asked about me. My friends told her i wasn't feeling very well. The next day when the time of her class came, my teacher took all my classmates and they came over to visit me. It was really a nice surprise for me and i felt so happy to have those wonderful people in my life. It was also funny to have more than 20 people at home, lol.

hmmmmmm, Ok I remember there was a problem for one of our customers at my X job & Al7amd le Allah I could solve her problem when I called her & informed her that her problem solved WoW this lady prayed to me till I cried & it was one of the fewest moment that I feel how much this lady is honest though she didn't know me & I was doing my job so I didn't expect all this praying.
Wow it really touches my heart.

I was a damsel in distress one evening when my car broke down, it was so dark & i was alone & afraid, filled with panic i searched for my mobile only to realise i must have left it in my desk at the office. Suddenly i saw headlamps in the distance(rare sight here in Sharm)as the large vehicle approached I felt mixed emotions of fear. The driver stopped got out & approached me with a smile on his face & asked if i needed assistance. He took off his suit jacket rolled up his shirt sleeves & checked inside the engine, admitting he didnt really know much about car mechanics so he called a garage for me. He let me use his mobile to call my parents&fiancee who had all been drinking alchohol at my home & said they would call a car to collect me. While we were waiting he mentioned that his wife was English & asked what part i was from, i told him & he laughed &said "that's where my wife is from, do you know the ........... family?" I could not believe out of all the people in Sharm that could have driven that road that night it would be a husband of an English lady & from the same area as me.I didn't know the family but he chatted about his wife, his daughter, showed me pictures from his wallet & spoke about their visits to the U.K. My fiancee came with one of my brothers & the man waited with us making calls to his home in between chatting until the guys from the garage arrived over 1 hour later, another half hour or so they still couldn't start my car.He then arranged for a pick up truck & offered us a lift home.
He took us home then headed off saying it was his pleasure
The following day my dad called the man to thank him, a little girl answered the phone & called to her dad he came to the phone saying he was happy to help etc & invited all our family for dinner the following evening.
Although we are from the same area as his wife we did not know her but we have become very close friends from that day to this. The man was "Little Egyptian Princesses" dad.

Farah your so right they are a wonderful family with no side to them at all, just down to earth normal caring people & as for Amira i could eat her she really is a little darling! She told me about me to this page, boy i am so glad she did.
They are all in our prayers!

After I got out of the military and worked a while I started attending University in the State of Idaho. This is a northern state that borders Canada and we had one of the worst winters in 50 years where the temperature didn't rise above -20degree F (-29 degrees C) for over two weeks in the daytime. I became ill, so I went to bed with the heat on very low to save money. I just piled all the blankets I had on and thought I would be better in the morning. In the morning I was so weak I couldn't get out of bed or raise my voice above a whisper...I was coughing up horrible looked stuff out of my lungs and could only lay there. I went in and out of delerium and when I was aware, I could tell that the heater had gone out cause there was a quarter of an inch of ice on the inside of the window by the bed and I couldn't feel my face or hands anymore. I lived in a small basement apartment of a building and no one else lived there except a couple on the level above me.

I remember knowing for sure that I was going to freeze to death and started praying...for how long I don't know when I heard knocking on my door...it went away and then came back...and then I heard the door being broken in. My neighbor from upstairs had worried when I didn't answer and my beat up old auto was in the parking lot...so he knew I was there but something was wrong cause the water pipes to his sink were freezing up which wouldn't happen if my heat was on.

He and his wife helped clean me up (I'd had to relieve myself in my bed and lay in it) and got me to the hospital...they told me that I had frostbite on my fingers and face and that an hour or two more and I would have frozen to death. Quick medical help saved my fingers but I still have nerve damage in some of them...so the feeling is partly gone. But God sent my neighbors down and saved me for some reason...I'm still looking for that reason to this day.

My wife. Her getting married to me in the first place under such conditions that I was seriously under many stresses, and helpless, and ever since then during nine sweet yeas of married life.

Also my parents, they have done their best to make living as good as possible for me, and that is what I've been to do for my children.

But above all, Almighty Allah, that has bestowed endless blessing, including faith upon me.

I'm always grateful for everyone who makes me even a little thing to make me happy, this may seem diplomatic or general answer but we really live now in a hard, tough world where a person caring about you without having any personal benefit is a real treasure.
