Don't miss Luxor, besides the pyramids in Cairo, Luxor has alot of the other great monuments (Valley of the Kings, Habu Temple, Luxor Temple, Karnak, Queen Hapsheput's Temple, etc... plus boating on the Nile). And you can see most of them in just a couple days. I was also in Hurgada, it's more of a resort town with alot of construction going on (new and old). Good place for shopping, sitting in the sun, and maybe snorkeling, etc... Cairo is also a must of course, you can see the museum and the pyramids in one day really, two at most. Cairo is a crazy place, but what an experience to be there. Alot of people I talked to also liked Sharm El Sheik, a little more expensive and really a tourist type town. I did not see Alexandria but I hear it's a good place to go. Have fun, it's a great country to experience.

Egypt has many interesting places to visit. it all depends on how much time you have. i think, if you even have as more than month, you still will have many more places to visit. Amoung the must-see places are: Egyptain meuseum (Giza), Pyraminds and Sphinx (Giza), Nile-Cruise/Felouka (Cairo/Giza), bibliotika Alexandria and stanely cornish(Alex), Karank (Luxor), snorkling in RedSea (Hurghada or Sharm ElSheikh).

well Egypt is a large country
it depends mainly on how much time you have
and you personal interests
so if you wanna go to resorts and scuba diving and stuff .. head to the red sea resorts (sharm el sheikh & Hargada)
if you wanna see the monuments then Cairo ( the pyramids & khan el khallli)
Alexandria ( Roman monuments)
And Above All Luxor and Aswan ( the Entire Phaoronic heritage)
and if you wanna go in safari you can visit the Siwa Oasis

you can find almost every thing you wanna do in Egypt
it's your choice

is really difcult to chose, depend in how many days you stay, which period of the year, what is your intresting to see.
some people like to enjoy only the sun and swimming , relaxing, some intresting about the culture, so is really difcult one.
you can have from the north to the south,
Alexandria, Cairo, Giza, Luxor, Aswan, Abu simble.
from the west to the east.
Siwa, westeren desert include white desert trip, el fayoum, the red sea coast, sinai and sharm el sheikh, Dahab, Taba.
i think your mind now is messy with all those site.

There are a number of attractions in Egypt, mainly to do with Pharonic and Islamic history. Cairo would be a good place to start. Giza Pyramids, Cairo Museum, Citadel and Khan ElKhalili (traditional market) are the main attarctions in Cairo - you could also visit AlAzhar University. Aswan, Luxor are the other big stops and several attractions there and on the way.

i guess egypt is a large country with several very nice places to visit
just come and visit it and you will not regret
you will have fun and you will come and visit it again and again because it is "om el donia" meaning: it is the mother of living world ...

Giza where the phyramids are lcoated and Alexandria the mediteraninan cost of the Egytpian city of Alexandria.. I hope you visit alex its' very veryt nice. Aswan is great too.. so check them out all..

there was the temple of luxor and the temple of karnak . you can visit the museums .

luxor, cairo, luxor, sharm el sheik, aswan, luxor, abu simble , but thats not really a city but its a great place to visit hurghada, ooohhh and did i mention luxor

Aswan and the Naser Dam

From there you drive or fly to Abu Simbel, near the Ethiopian border. This was my favourite part of Egypt.

maybe all of these places are historical but there is also
1)the Cairo tower
2)sokoya (a cafe like a club in Maddi)
3)Azhar park (a very nice park with restaurants with very nice view)
4)khan al khaleelee with azhar mosque
