Amazing ... Arabian Dune just said something my mom told me so many years ago and I have never taken anything for granted ever since.
My simple pleasures are my books, my music, just knowing that my friends and loved ones are there for me when I need them and can count on them ... My daughter and the joy she brings into my life, nature, sharing smiles and laughter as well as your sorrow with people who care about you ... long list ... I realized as I read this again that these are not simple, they are priceless things which so many of us take for granted. Thank God for everything. |

I'm being inspired by one of my recent patients. He told me that all he wants is to be able to pee, yes just that.
oh the pleasures we have and don't notice till they are gone.
