What are some of the reasons that make people love Lebanon that much?

The people of Lebanon are great! They are so friendly. The women do have the reputation of being the most beautiful of the Middle East. Lebanon's food is my favorite-as most agree. The history of the country is fascinating. Most of the people carry the DNA of the ancient Phoenicians-----so it is a long and interesting history. The people are proud of this.

There are many night spots, if this is what you like. There are beaches, boating and swimming. There is the Balbaak Music Festival yearly. There is so much to do there.

The civil war was to give civil rights to both Christians and Muslims. They did get it worked out. But, thanks (snicker, snicker) to Syria and Hezbollah, that freedom for the people and government are about gone. Sad. Lebanon could have so much potential.

*Most Liberal country in the ME
* Most people are very friendly and speak English and French
* Yummy food
* Lebanese women are the best looking in the middle east
* Lots of night life(clubs and bars staying open late)
* Excellent food(both eastern and western)
* Great nature with lots of forests and beaches, and no desert.
* The capital Beirut is one of the nicest in the middle east

Lebanon used to be an extermely prosperous country in the past. Many people from different religious backgrounds and ethnicites used to live relatively peacefully. These are primarily the chirstians and the muslims. It used to be an exemplarary country to the rest of the nations in the Middle East. Beirut was once the called the Paris of the Middle East. It also used to be prosperous because of it is positioned in a major trading route. Howver the Civil War tore open a Pandora's Box of political and religious tensions and its never been the same since. I guess people love Lebanon because of the beautiful country that it used to be and still could be.

well being lebanese and all its about like everyone there is welcome and people are nice and us lebanese girls are pretty and the guys are hot and beirut is like las vegas its always open at night the clubs everything there is beautiful just google lebanon and you will see i go every year and i love going and look forward it every summer

For a small country like lebanon, i have never seen so much anger and corruption and so much divide. Why can't ya'll give peace and harmony a chance? Groups like Hezbo took your country, God knows how many years back, because of their actions your nation was destroyed last summer and so many of you living in misery. I don't understand how you back up groups that has no intention to work for all lebanese people as a nation, but to work for the sake of other relegious fanatical governments and for their own causes.
Rise up you lebanese people, all of you, muslims, christians, druze etc. and unite for one democraticaly elected goverment and country and move forward with your lives, grow, prosper, follow the changes in civilizations, educate your kids and so on. War is the ugliest thing mankind has to encounter, stop supporting groups that do your country harm and pray that your politicians are not as corrupt as corrupt can be.
