What are the characteristics of a "perfect" Wife and a "perfect" Husband, from yr point of view?

bent 7alal ya hope,i was just talking about this issue with a friend last night..
i believe there's no such thing as a perfect husband or a perfect wife,you and neither are u,so you find someone that completes you and like u the way you are with all your flaws and expect you to respect his,and so you two can ascend and try to improve yourself together to reach the level of happiness that suit you two...
but of course there are some things that can be ignored when u choose ur special someone like his morals and piousity because if those two conditions are fulfilled then i can count on others things,the good pious man won't be cheap,won't be arrogant and he'd be respectful to me in the good and in the bad
,his relation with his family because it reflects a lot specially girls in his family,and the way he treats other ppl...

the most important thing,the perfect husband for me is my destiny,it's already been decided when i was born,it's up to us to choose the way we reach it,either the right way or the wrong way....

What I look for in my wife is:
Innocence - Compassion - A baby face (No sharp beauty)
A bit of naughty - Witty and easy going

What I found:
An Angel which I would not trade for the whole world and I might go further to ask Allah (swt) to make her my companion in Paradise inshaa'Allah

perfect wife : a person who i love, and i am married to her.

I don't have a husband but these are the qualities I would look for. Mutual respect, honesty, loyalty, loving, caring, fun, down to earth.

Not asking for too much but a few key points to make a marriage work in my opinion. I mean I don't believe in perfection cos there is no such thing I think if you expect way too much then you will be disappointed. We all have flaws and that is what makes us who we are as individuals.

If the 2 spouses are in love, each person will do their best to make the other happy, and thus, they will seem "perfect" for each other. An ideal partner, male or female, is loving, caring, sweet, understanding ;)

My husband is not perfect neither am I and this is what keep us together! We know each other's flaws and understand that we have to work our imperfections. There are times that I wanted to kill him and I am sure there are numerous occasions that he dreamed of putting poison in my food (ok, I am just exaggerating here), but it's our love for each other that keep us from doing such horrific things ;-)

A perfect husband is:
Humane, lover, friend.
Further details are expected from you, girls not from us ;-)

And a perfect wife is:
that the man (her husband) feels at ease with, that's it.
Man main role is to provide all the family needs, and to do so, he goes to practical life; meeting stresses, cruelty, bad people and many other unpleasant staff, so what a man really needs is a wife that makes him forget all his worries once he "sees" her, that's what I believe.

Look sweetie, I could go on writing volumes to answer this question, but I'll just give you the short version of what I was looking for in the man I wanted to marry. The main thing was that he had to be ragil yi3raf rabina and treats me bima yordy Allah, knowing not just his rights, but his duties as well. That is the most important thing, and anything else is secondary. If he follows shar3 rabina in our relationship I think I couldn't ask for more.

Having said that, I also wanted him to be taller than me :D

I'm about to get married next year. My fiance is in no way perfect, nor would I want him to be. Neither am I either!

A 'perfect' partner, whether it be wife or husband, is somebody with whom you share chemistry, love and respect.

As long as you have these 3 elements in a relationship, that in itself should make a partner perfect.

Perfect only means that you have found the person with the flaws that you can handle. Everyone is going to have flaws, some you can deal with and get over and some you just cant. Those things are different for everyone. Just be honest with yourself! Dont be too picky either tho!

A perfect wife/husband/partner is one who realizes that neither he/she nor his/her partner is, in truth, perfect, and that, in the course of the marriage or relationship, imperfect events will occur which will put stress on the bond which has been nurtured. The search for perfection might very well be an inherent part of human nature, but it should not be brought into a marriage or relationship! Well, that's my humble opinion, anyway...

Okay, here my addendum in reply to your additional remarks: I noticed and understood your usage of the quote marks, although perhaps I didn't quite word myself adequately enough - my apologies. If you want me to specify a trait, then I'd say that the acceptance of one's partner's imperfections is one of, but certainly not the only most important pillars of a healthy, enduring relationship. One might say that traits like loyalty, trust, etc. are more important, but acceptance of one's partner's flaws is even more fundamental, as these are inevitable - to err is human, as Alexander Pope once famously said.

in my personal opinion there is no such thing as perfect wife or a perfect husband for they are both human (usually)and humans have their shortcomings BUT

Well I wish that I find the perfect Husband, but it is impossible unless I order him from the factory ...
There is a fact that men and women start to be so picky when age gets older....And the ( perfect) person start to be semi-impossible ....
Regardless to the minor disadvantages,
Love , Respect and responsibility are the 3 key factors I am looking for...

Love will be always be as a peace making soldier or as a reference in your both hearts, like a hidden contract, Example: she forgot to wake me up to go to the interview (angryyyyy grrrr) STOP she's your beloved person, talk to her & never hurt her, she sure have her reasons

Understanding will make you see the best of every incedent, Example: He didn't take me with him in his family meeting, (angryyyyy grrrrrr) STOP, he may be don't want to force me to such pooring meeting and if I told him I want to go he would say yes I would love to

friendship is always the best, many many ppl can forgive & understand thier friends but not their spouses in the very same cases so be friends, act like friends, bring gifts like friends do and eventually every day will be like you loved each other for the first time
