It is the most beautiful, most refressing piece of land...But the crime and being scared to in your own home..makes me wana shake the president until he wakes up..Becoz wake up Thabo Mbeki!!!!! Your country is following in Zimbabwe's footsteps! |

The job market (and winter weather) is absolutely horrible!
Close to the cities of my favorite sports franchises. |

The scenery is beautiful... I live in a tucked away quiet rural area...
I am 45 min away from big city, ocean, mountains, etc.
Unfortunately -I am 45 min away from malls and excellent restaurants too.. |

Bad Zwischenahn, Northwest Germany.
We have a beautiful 526 hectare lake, surrounded by forests, all under nature conservation, lots of wildlife, all kinds of birds, and even a few deer. It is an absolute haven for walking the dogs (although the dogs are supposed to be on the leash), the countryside is flat, the highest point is 7m above sea level, making it ideal for cycling.
The worst is that I have never met anyone with whom I could speak English., and that the winter is tooo loooong!! |

Quincy Illinios- USA.
There are a few of each.
Best:
hardly no crime, quiet, kids can roam town freely, pretty clean, not too small (about 60,000). So calm they call it "The Retirement Town", housing is cheap, not too far from bigger cities...
Worst:
***this is the biggest complaint- A lot of things to do for young kids and adults but not many things for teenagers.
Only two high schools to choose from
Everyone has thier own cliques and not many people mix with the other cliques
~~Its a pretty nice place to be honest~~ |

Worst -
1. The mine dumps dust when windy.
2. Mosquitoes at night, I'm sure the neighbor is breeding with his dirty pool.
Best -
1. A huge Hyperama that never has ques when shopping even at month-end and very close to where i stay.
2. Central to all major highways and the airport. |

The best thing is that you can do almost everything.
The worst thing is that the people doesn't like noise. I always talk loud. |

It is a beautiful neighborhood, the School is 5 minutes drive away, most of my friends and my childrens friends live here, there are lovely parks, beautiful valley close by with a river and hiking trails.......bad thing are the criminals that target it because it is considered to be an affluent subburb..........crime spoils everything and makes me not enjoy my neighbourhood 100% |

Bramley Manor
Its painfully quiet and the neighbours dont know each other. Its quite eerie at night and every little sound makes you jump.
We have a river near us that makes the place so cold during winter
There are one too many insects all year round
But...
It feels safe
The river cools us down on hot days
Its nice to be surounded by the buzz of nature and that frog that croaks the whole night..lol
South Africa as a whole... I'm tired of commenting on. |

The view and the cold.
Edit :
Now I wonder what this thumbs down is for, my new hairstyle, by skin colour or just because you are trying to stamp out the competition !
I repeat the best and worst things about where I live still remains the view and the cold, in that order. |

LA never sleeps! The area where I live is chaotic at it's best. People are always coming and going. You have to learn to ''switch off'' at night, just to get a little sleep. Entertainment -wise, there's loads to do, you just need never-ending energy! I actually miss New Zealand's tranquil lifestyle that I had become so accustomed to. I miss waking up to the beautiful sea view, and the fresh-smelling sea breeze blowing through my window. Everything was so conveniently situtated in NZ. |

Best things about Richards Bay:
I live near the ocean!!
I usually go for walks on the pier after work, and when I'm lucky I can see the dolphins swimming close by.
I live relatively close to places like St. Lucia, Cape Vidal, Sodwana Bay (a lot of weekend-away possibilities)
Worst things:
Air Pollution, with large industrial companies like Foskor, Mondi, Hillside and Bayside the air quality is often poor.
Limited Entertainment - When I go out over the weekend, the best option always seem to be the cinema. |
