Palestinian Demands
Palestinians want Israel to comply with international law and retreat to the borders that existed in 1967.

Palestinians express this demand as four key conditions for peace, including:

Palestinian control of East Jerusaleum,

Although many Palestinians simply want an independent nation, others, such as the powerful Hamas organization, consider all of the territory called "Israel" to be part of Palestine.

Although a majority of Israelis are willing to have their military leave the Palestinian territories, a powerful minority consider all of the territory currently called "Palestinian" to be part of Israel. They do not want to compromise or pull back. Instead, they want to keep expanding Israeli settlements into Palestinian territories.

Sharon, before entering a coma, began reducing the settlements. However, when Sharon talked about an independent state of Palestine, he meant a Palestinian state that is still under the control of Israel. Past proposals have, in fact, allowed Israel to maintain control over a new Palestinian state. Palestinians have not found such Israeli offers of "independence" acceptable. Now that Hamas won the last Palestinian election, Palestinians may be even less likely to compromise.

I believe israel should obey the UN and not bomb sewege plants and block food and aid from entering gaza so hamas wont retaliate by sending rockets into isreal which triggers a war

Sit down and with their leaders, and U.N and actually put an effort to make peace, be more flexible!!

Also STOP breaking U.N laws, they have broken 70(most in the world.)

That way arab leaders will not be as angry, and they will also be flexible.

THE TRUTH IS HOLY

It has been my experience that Mohammedans respect strength and little else. If Israel starts fighting this purely defensive Gaza action like she means it (and by doing so, many, many Arab lives will be saved in the long run), instead of the half-way measures she has used until now (either truly and aggressively pursuing the terrorists or using biological warfare or WMD - I would suggest nuclear, but since the Gaza technically is Jewish territory, I would prefer not contaminating that land unless absolutely necessary), then Israel will have the respect of the Arab world. Once that comes, a real truce - akin to peace - is possible. The short answer is that peace will be possible when either The Messiah comes or the Arab world believes that Israel is strong enough to handle all comers.

kismet- what you are saying makes no sense. why should the Israeli people GIVE UP their OWN country for other people's destruction, where do you suggest they go?

generally speaking, Most of Israeli's are Jewish, and the Jewish people have been promised a land, how is it fair that for 3000+ years Jews have been promised a land to themselves (as most all other countries have have abused, kicked them out, and frowned upon them) and now they have one of the smallest country and they STILL have to share, with that bombs are still thrown at them. please justify your case...

as for the question, i think Gaza should go back to ownership of Egypt, but they don't want it so....its problematic, other then that, Israel has TRIED peace, and the Palestinian people of the west bank and Gaza have clearly taken advantage of it, i feel that Israel is taking initiative in bombing Gaza, ....we gave them several chances.., i know refuges are hard people, but common, they have NO moral system down in Gaza... they use children as shields from guns...

if it were up to me, i would just bomb them all out. but i am very right wing...so many will disagree...

For Israel to acheive and maintain peace, Israel must maintain her military superiority (conventionally and non-conventionally).
.....no other way.

Expecting peace in the middle east shows a lack of historical study, biblical knowledge and understanding of what the goals of Islam are.
Islam doesn't want peace anywhere. They want to rule by an archaic religious system that has no regard for human life.
There will be peace on earth in the not too distant future but God will bring it and there will be fighting killing and war until He stops it.
