The prices in Egypt are very low compared to the UK. It is alot cheaper to eat out in really nice restaurants. Clothing is cheaper. In many shops you can barter on the prices if you find them to high but if there is a marked price on something you can't barter as it is a fixed price. |

depends on what currency ur exchanging. if u r coming from a foreign country, everything will seem cheap to u when u exchange ur money to Egyptian pound. 1 USD is equal to 5.75 Egyptian pounds. 1 Euro is equal to 7 Egyptian pounds I believe. However, if u r Egyptian living in Egypt and using it's currency LE, then everything there will seem cheap or reasonable except for clothes and electronics and anything made in USA |
