I admire the idea and the thoughts
to help ,to support ,its sort of depends on you but the cost is very little
it would start with a smile
could be such a question as you put on this site
could be by answering some questions bringing some knowledge or some info to some one who falls under nasty propaganda
It could be even by staring a question that add some info
but again all what is on ground is done to palestinians and people of the world are watching
but the way to help out is as I mentioned very simple and easy it starts with a smile .

You can pray for them. You can visit the sick children in hospitals, donate to them, make a child smile.

let them know you care and you hear their cries.

have a nice day ^_^

Oh, but you have already have done my dear.
It's called positive thinking.
I would also recommend if you have any contact in Palestine that has access to "sensitive" military information about the Jews to provide as many names and recorded events of war crimes as possible.
Let us make "Israel" the last bastion of racism to be eliminated my dear "Hope".
Greetings

I would boycott the jews myself but it seems they don't produce nothing on that land.
Just you try and always express your support towards the Palestinians.
I am not saying that all the jews are bad or anything here, but most of them like that thing that theim brothers are doing in Palestine.
So what I would do if I were you is to go find some jews and tell them what you think of the whole mess in the ME.
As for me I can't do that because I don't want them coming near me.
I don't hate them or anything but I want them to keep their distance from good old Steel.

..LONG LIVE PALESTINE.. (Mina)
Start with PUBLIC AWARENESS... then support the BOYCOTT ISRAEL organizations... You can always go to Palestine and physically help them.

Also, there are many HELP PALESTINE organizations that require funds in order to carry out their respective work. You can help with that - either join or help financially.

>> Personally i think the first thing to do is BOYCOTT ISRAEL - therefore stop funding the enemy and stop helping them kill your Muslim brothers and sisters. Then start helping the Palestinians...

All the best to you! May Allah (S.W.T) reward you for all your efforts!!!! Ameen...

ThanX for caring....

Peace!

Keep talking about the conflict and what the poor Palestinians are going through on their stolen land by jews and their unjust Gov.

It is really tough, because no government wants to pay attention to this violation of human rights.

I give respect to all those setting up charities, but as the world is pro-Israeli or scared of supporting Palestine because then they will be labelled Nazis, makes the whole situation worse.

There are on occasions, groups of people that go to West Bank or Gaza to take pictures or distribute food and medicine.

Perhaps the best option is to try and influence your neighbour to the calamity of the Palestinians. Then over time it will spread and more people will sympathise with the natives.

you can go volunteer at any humanitarian organization that helps the Palestinian people with food and medical care. this is your best bet.

Boycot Israel or something like that. Anyway what Israel is doing in Gaza blocking aid is a cowardly thing done by the jews but can"t say I"m surprised.

Duane
Join the International Solidarity Movement which is doing more than anyone else to galvanize support and attention to the situation in Occupied Palestine.

Hi Hope
One of the responses mentioned the BoycottIsrael campaign, and we can all be observant of that. I've been boycotting every corporation on their list since I first learned of it. The campaign was started by union workers in Great Britain.
As a fellow female, I was astonished at how many cosmetics companies are listed; Maybelline, L'Oreal, Revlon, and many others. Luckily for us, we can still purchase the superior British-made Rimmel products! :)
Most importantly, please write to or call the companies you're boycotting and tell them WHY....I assure you that money-making corporations take this sort of thing VERY seriously. If they hear from enough people, they'll (hopefully) reconsider their policies.
Thanks for caring!

What Duane said, but also by talking to people about what is really going on in Palestine. No a lot of people really know the situation, and the truth of what is happening. I think more and more it is coming out, but the truth needs to be spread. If the world is watching events as they are happening there, it could just save the lives of innocent children in Palestine, as they seem to be the main targets.

My dear, this is Israel travel site, however you are a lady and you asked, so...
The Palestinains must first help themselves, I'm talking about the Palestinains in Gaza, the ones in the west bank need no help, matter of fact as time goes by there is talk of a second Palestinain country the Gazastien, talk to them convince them there is no way to win this thing, they must give up on their useless hate, accept Israel is here to stay, that in my opinion is all you can do.

What about Palestinians who are discriminated against and live like second class citizens in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan?

Arieh
You can't. Any money you give will never get to the people who need it. It will either go to corrupt government officials or terrorist groups.

thymust support them selves first...who can you support fath or hamas?,thy only want to be leaders ....phalistinians must re arrange them selves ,,,determine thir aims then we can support

THE TRUTH IS HOLY
We must assume that you mean the independent nation of Jordan as there is no such entity as "Palestine" or "Palestinians" (unless you are referring to Jews born in the mid-east). Here is how we have a chance at peace and help all people. Liberate the Occupied Territories. The areas of Bethlehem, Shchem, The Sinai, Gaza, Southwest Syria and West Jordan must be liberated and returned to The Jewish People. Then there will be a chance at peace. Up until now, there have been no acts of aggression committed by Jews in order to liberate these areas. I fear that will change in Feb. of '09 unless steps are taken to peacefully liberate these areas. While I believe that Shay means well, I am uncomfortable with rewarding someone for not being a murderer rather than merely punishing murderers. Israel does not need to be recognized as having a right to exist any more than the United States or France does. If I choose not to recognize France, it is still a sovereign nation. Israel is. If someone wishes to believe that it is not or should not be, that is his problem. I thank KISMET and DANDYL for making that point so well and so often.

convince them to kick hamas out of office, stop the hate, stop the attacks, and sit down to make peace with a neighbor that isn't going anywhere.

Get someone that cares to go in and clean out the schools. Change the teaching and change the mindset. Maya is great at mind warping in schools but she would just make it worse.
Teach them their children were never meant to be sacrifices for God. Stop making bomb vest for young girls.
Show them how their own leadership sends out terrorist that cause the gates to close. So they can gain sympathy and news coverage.
Shut off all aid coming in from overseas to Fatah and Hamas. Then they will stop making the fat fatter and have to do something like lay down their guns.
Turn the mindset away from being dependent on Israeli aid and thinking Israel should feed a people so set on their demise.
There is so much the world could do.

to make Palestinians love their kids, not ours, and then we will think how to support them.

get them to declare peace on israel and their lives will be much better.

the simplest solutions are often the best.

Palestinians are Arabs who really belong in Jordan, Egypt, Syria, etc.
If you want to support them, help them get back home!!!

dandyl
to answer you, Arabs in Israel do not need help.Arabs in Israel have equal voting rights; in fact, it is one of the few places in the Middle East where Arab women may vote. Arabs currently hold 8 seats in the 120-seat Knesset. Israeli Arabs have also held various government posts, including one who served as Israel's ambassador to Finland and the current deputy mayor of Tel Aviv. Oscar Abu Razaq was appointed Director General of the Ministry of Interior, the first Arab citizen to become chief executive of a key government ministry. Ariel Sharon's original cabinet included the first Arab minister, Salah Tarif, a Druze who served as a minister without portfolio. An Arab is also a Supreme Court justice.

Arabic, like Hebrew, is an official language in Israel. More than 300,000 Arab children attend Israeli schools. At the time of Israel's founding, there was one Arab high school in the country. Today, there are hundreds of Arab schools.2

In 2002, the Israeli Supreme Court also ruled that the government cannot allocate land based on religion or ethnicity, and may not prevent Arab citizens from living wherever they choose.

The sole legal distinction between Jewish and Arab citizens of Israel is that the latter are not required to serve in the Israeli army. This is to spare Arab citizens the need to take up arms against their brethren. Nevertheless, Bedouins have served in paratroop units and other Arabs have volunteered for military duty. Compulsory military service is applied to the Druze and Circassian communities at their own request.

Some economic and social gaps between Israeli Jews and Arabs result from the latter not serving in the military. Veterans qualify for many benefits not available to non-veterans. Moreover, the army aids in the socialization process.

On the other hand, Arabs do have an advantage in obtaining some jobs during the years Israelis are in the military. In addition, industries like construction and trucking have come to be dominated by Israeli Arabs.

Although Israeli Arabs have occasionally been involved in terrorist activities, they have generally behaved as loyal citizens. During the 1967, 1973 and 1982 wars, none engaged in any acts of sabotage or disloyalty. Sometimes, in fact, Arabs volunteered to take over civilian functions for reservists. During the outbreak of violence in the territories that began in September 2000, Israeli Arabs for the first time engaged in widespread protests with some violence.

The United States has been independent for almost 230 years and still has not integrated all of its diverse communities. Even today, 60 years after civil rights legislation was adopted, discrimination has not been eradicated. It should not be surprising that Israel has not solved all of its social problems in only 60 years.

With regards to the west bank, When Israel captured the West Bank and Gaza Strip in 1967, officials took measures to improve the conditions that Palestinians had lived under during Jordan’s 19-year occupation of the West Bank, and Egypt’s occupation of Gaza. Universities were opened, Israeli agricultural innovations were shared, modern conveniences were introduced, and health care was significantly upgraded. More than 100,000 Palestinians were employed in Israel, and were paid the same wages as Israeli workers, which stimulated economic growth.

The rise in violence during the 1990s, and then the war instigated by Palestinian terrorists beginning in 2000, has taken a heavy toll on the Palestinian economy. To protect its citizens from suicide bombers and other terrorists, Israel was forced to take measures that had a deleterious impact on the economy in the Palestinian Authority. The most serious step was to limit the number of Palestinian workers entering Israel to reduce the risk of terrorists pretending to be workers slipping into the country. This raised the level of unemployment, which, in turn, had a negative spillover effect on the rest of the Palestinian economy.

Despite the collapse of the PA economy from the last five years of war, Palestinian Arabs are still better off than many of their neighbors. The most recent Human Development Report from the United Nations ranks the PA 102nd in terms of life expectancy, educational attainment and adjusted real income out of the 177 countries and territories in the world, placing it in the “medium human development” category along with most of the other Middle Eastern states (only the Gulf sheikdoms are ranked “high”). The PA is ranked just 12 places below Jordan and one behind Iran; it is rated ahead of Syria (#105), Algeria (#108), Egypt (#120), and Morocco (#125).

Few Palestinians would trade places with Arabs in neighboring countries. Well, perhaps, with one exception. They might aspire to the standard of living in the country ranked 22nd by the UN – Israel.
