yep Thursday and Fridays are our weekend days..
Friday being the day for collective major prayer at noon at all the big mosques...
Work, business, and school days run usually Saturdays through Wednesdays...
Saudi is thinking however to change this from the above. to have Friday and Saturday as our weekend to be more in line with the west.. cause in our businesses, we loose 2 western working days where we could communicate and trade, so if we chang to a Friday/Saturday weekend.. at least we'd gain the Thursday business.. ..
doesnt matter to me either way... |

In all other its usually Saturday and Sunday. |

weekend is ksa is depend on which city u reside, for example if u r in western region u have jeddah, corniche is the favorite weekend destination apart from routine hypermarket visits whether u need to buy something or not its just for entertainment, so as in eastern side like dammam and khobar, whereas in central province like riyadh u ve to manage with upcoming hyper malls throughout the city and off course good roads.
