You can look at my picture and decide. Depends if you are Sephardic or Ashkenazi. Sephardic are descendants from Spain could be light with blue eyes or green or brown. Middle eastern looking. Ashkenazi could be light skin with brown eyes or even blue. It is hard to tell, in Israel there are a lot of Middle Eastern Jews and Russian Jews. Blond with blue eyes. We come in all shapes and colors as we are all part of the human race.

Classicaly, as Jews are semites, they had dark hair and dark eyes (usually brown and brown) and a someone tanned complexion. However, since Jews have spent a lot of time in foreign countries absorbing different genetics through conversion (most notably the Khazars) that is no longer true. Israeli people today are an amalgamation of world Jewry, with black Ethiopians, darker Yemenites, lighter Europeans, and somewhere-in-the-middle Spaniards (spharadim). Many people are a mixture of various bloodlines at this point, so there's a lot of diversity in peoples appearance.

The first answer is wrong and stereotyping. Israelis are a combination of Jews from all over the world and there are many who are blond with blue or brown and even black eyes. There are many who are Middle Eastern and have dark hair with brown or green eyes. But most looks are Middle Eastern.

Us Israelis are a mixed bag. Sephardic Jews come from southern/southeastern Europe, North Africa, Middle Eastern countries, India, Georgia, Uzbekistan, etc., so they tend to have darker complexions. Teymani Jews come from Yemen so they tend to look more 'Yemeni'. Ethiopian Jews are black. Ashkenazi Jews look European- some have blonde hair and light complexions, others have darker complexions and brown/black hair. Many Israelis are a combination of these.

It's impossible to generalize about the appearance of Israelis, whether they are immigrants or natives. One of my best friends' father is from Lithuania and the mother is from Syria. If you saw her parents, your first assumption would be that the father is Syrian and that the mother is Lithuanian.

Israel, just like the USA, is an immigration country and its Jewish population is a blend of a variety of ethnicities, races and origins.

29% of the Jewish population in Israel originates from Asia or Africa. 37% of the population originates from Europe or America.
Most of the Sabras (native Israelis), anyway, descend from more than one ethnicity.

There is no one characteristic appearance to all Israelis, just like there's no one appearance to all Americans.
You may see blonde, brunette, redhead and black-haired Israelis with blue, green or brown eyes. Some of us are pale, and some of us are rather dark, or black.

Well i am an israeli citzen from the law of return so i am not a sabra.But my family is.And most of us have black or brown hair.Rarely blond only if it is artificial or colored.And brown or black eyes.

There is no description that fits because the gates have been opened to all who profess to be of the Jewish faith , irrespective of where they come from ...

Consequently you have people from all corners of the globe , all physical colours shapes & sizes...just as long as they claim to be Jewish .

The Arab people who were there but have since been moved on , have dark hair & brown eyes ....

they does look like white people,is not true about the intermarriage which brought the whie married to blck people and bring mixture of appearance
