The Jews of Jerusalem speak Hebrew, the Haredi Jews of Jerusalem speak Yiddish, though for the most part they also speak Hebrew, the Israeli Arabs and Arabic East Jerusalemites speak Arabic and the former Ethiopians speak Hebrew and Amharic. For the most part you can also find English, French, Spanish and Russian speakers. The official languages of Israel are Hebrew and Arabic. That being said, your average Israeli Jew doesn't speak Arabic and your average Israeli Arab doesn't speak great Hebrew. Other common languages in Israel are Russian -following the immigration of many former Soviet Union Jews- Amharic from the Ethiopian Jews and Western languages. English is taught in school, so there's a good chance the Israelis you meet will have decent English. I would say the frequency of terror attacks is a 1 at this point. It's been quiet for a long while now. Israelis have no problems with American Christians (once again as long as they don't prosletyze). Jerusalem especially with all its holy sites is open to all tourists and all religions.

Jews speak Hebrew (and most speak English) and Palestinians speak Arabic (some know some English). There arent many terrorist attacks. I dont know how to rank it on a scale. Lets just say that your average Israeli is not going to ever get hurt in a terrorist attack. Every Jewish Israeli must spend time in the army after graduating from high school. Israelis dont have many problems with American Christians, only with our government and the fact that Christ is Lord. Hope this helps!

The official language of Israel is Hebrew but almost everyone is bi-lingual. The most common "foreign" languages are English, French, and Arabic.

While there have been a few terrorist attacks in Jerusalem in recent years there have been very few. 1 on a scale of 1-10.

American Christians are very welcome in Jerusalem. Aside from Jews, American Christians are the largest group of tourists/pilgrims in Jerusalem. American Christians who go Jerusalem should visit the YMCA building across from the King David Hotel, as well as many other Christian sites.

I live in Jerusalem now, and would rate it as : 3/10
and they speak Hebrew and Arabic here .. and you will find alot who speaks English as well .
and No, Israelis or Arabs never have a problem with Americans/Christians ... Tourists are so welcome here!

No, the Palestinians have issues with the government of the US, but no issues with the people in general. The Israelis love American Christians, as they are the ones footing the bill for their unjust war.

Every Friday in Jerusalem you may see police shooting, beating and preventing Muslim young prayers to enter their mosque to pray. Beside the everyday killing of Palestinian civilians.
