- To have a good walk. If he is in Alexandria a walk by the sea shore is ideal. If he is in another city then by the Nile river.
- To talk about it with a trustworthy person. This will vent the tension.
- To go out, staying at home thinking of the problem is not good at all.
The idea is to sea other people, real people even without talking to them. TV watching is not enough.
- If there are children in the family, it is good to spend some time with them. Children have a way of taking the mind away from problems( other problems than staying with children).
I heard these tips from a psychiatrist when somebody asked him about what to do when there is a problem in life. It is a good advice from a good specialist.
I like to add that thinking of the good side and the advantages also helps, like it is better now than later. |

Time is a great healer, as I have come to realise. There is really nothing else that one can do, besides keeping yourself mentally occupied with other things, important things, constructive things. I buried myself in a new project for a good eight months, I tried my best not to think too much and prayed alot. I'm not yet totally healed and some days I still get angry and bitter about how things came to an end and what nonsense people spoke. You have to be strong and place your trust in the Almighty, and having understanding family or friends also helps alot. |

Try to sit and lay low for a while, but also they should hang out with their friends, and spend tons of time with their family. All of this is necessary to work up your heart again, and once they think that it is basically patched up again, then they can go out, and maybe seek more then friendship, very slowly and with someone who is utterly reliable on not breaking up their heart once again.
