well...i rarely traveled alone...
when i was in college going from ismailia to portsaied back and forth(usually we took the bus),i always had company...we talked about everything
we fought....we laughed.... *sigh*
i love watching the way from the window...i memorised that whole way...
but sometimes i travel alone,i usually read,but not my favorite kinda books(metaphysics) because the atmosphere kills it...i read novels....
i sometimes listen to the qur'an,i had it all in my mobile....
i really miss traveling :( |

I can't read well inside a moving bus. I enjoy travelling by train but it's rare when it happened.
The best thing to do when travelling is Tasbeeh and remember all the Quraan that I can. If I want to do something else later I will find it a good chance to relax or think about something I may have delayed before. |

hm I travel by train often! and trip lasts many hours!
I always have magazines with me and some songs in my mobile..and of course radio!
I dont travel by bus but if I would, I would prefer radio and day dreaming! :)) |

I like watching the scenery out the window. As you pass diferent areas, you can imagine what other peoples lives are like. I find these sites very romantic if you know what I mean. |

I try to be calm, especially when beside me sitt uneducated people or kids.Once during a travel to Rome, a french sitting near me, poured all his coffee to me by mistake...I got really crazy..
Very important who is sitting near you while travelling...Otherwise, your travel is going to be the''hell of Dante'' |

Sometimes I read, but sometimes I get lazy so I only listen to music in my ipod, fall asleep, or from time to time I'll talk to the passenger next to me (don't do this very often but sometimes it comes up naturally). I also like seeing the landscape when it's worth it. |

actually i don't like to read while something is moving !!
but i like to listen to Qura'an then songs.......... also, i love to think of my future, and plan for it...........!!

I can't read anything on a bus. TERRIBLE HEADACHE! On a train, it depends. In Egypt I definitely prefer to read while riding a train. However, in other countries the sights outside the window are sometimes so beautiful it's a shame to just ignore them and stick your nose in a book. It's a once in a life time experience and I would rather not let it pass. The book will be there to read later. |

Well... I have never traveled by bus or train...
Our car trips were usually with family n friends... enjoying the sights (we usually take a route with much to see)... or listening and dancing to music... I don't like to read in car... cz I get migraines...
AND we usually stop multiple times on the way... for different reasons... :D sometimes just to eat a snack... n sometimes just to enjoy the sight :D |

I enjoy the scenery...the adventure...I like to read...maybe do a crossword puzzle, explore the different areas on the train, maybe meet some new people and have a chat, and look forward to a visit to the dining room.
Life's an adventure and a change is as good as a rest!

I day dream all the time picturing events the way I would like to see me and others in the future :)) and I always have my CD player with me to enhance the daydream and make it more dramatic hahaha there are a few going on as it takes me a good hour to get to work by bus or train :)))) |

I traveled by train in Egypt, several times. I enjoy not having to drive myself. Some of the roads in Egypt, outside of the bigger towns are no very good and I do not want to ruin my car. Sometimes, I cannot find anyone to travel with me, so I wear a black hajib and keep to myself. I read a lot or listen to my music. I do not talk to people I do not know.
I am rested when I get to my destination. |
