looool, some of the answers so far are hilarious!

yeah, course i know wales won the 6 nations! i love Rugby - both playing and watching - it's great. ofcourse, not as good as football (soccer), but it's still one of my fav. sports.

lol, i'm asking this here because i want to know what the people who hang around in this section (they're great) know/think about rugby but all other answerers are welcome! :)

Rugby is a great game to watch, I dont think I will be playing it, maybe I will try "Touch".

I have been to the Rugby acadamy in Palmerston North (New Zealand) and tried kicking the ball around (not easy).

I am great supporter of the All Blacks and the Hurricanes.

The few things that puzzles me with Rugby:

1. The thing they play with called a ball, while it is actually an elliptical shape, cannot be called a ball.

2. You have to pass the ball backward all the time, Yet you have to move forward to score !!!!

3. Whatever you do you only score "Try" you never achieve anything you are only trying all the time :):)

4. This srumb, I cannot understand why people have to gather around the ball, and one team pass the ball under his team mates, then take it again,...etc. it is very complicated and time wasting.

But I still love watching it anyway.

Yes. Big strapping men rush around, throw themselves violently at one another, get covered in mud and occasionally lose their shorts. Great stuff.

19 seasons at No. 2 and a stint as a ref. I suppose I know what I might be talking about.

Anyway Rugby is not a sport! It is a way of life!!!!!!

I remember the HQ when we watched the matches from a shed!........... It is rather more luxurious theses days, although the wimmin still queue behind the men at the urinals, at half time! Some things never change!

A lot of men chase after a funny shaped ball then some of them bend over and shove their heads up each others backsides.
