i prefer guy friends because they can defend you and u feel safe around them and then at certain times ure homegirls are a good thing since they can help you out with emotional problems and all this.

in my opinion I took an important decisions from men because they use their minds more than their emotions but when i want to take decisions about the the outer view and colors and finishing touch the girls has it better cause they feel more than they think

I am a boy and would always feel free with boys.They may perhaps not been as smart as girls but then we can ignore something for friendship and ourselve be careful There is no question but only boys are better able to help boys.Like smartness some of them may be lacking in wisdom but we do not look for guidance among friends but friendship.Why did king Krishna of Mahabharat loved Sudama who was his classmate at one time but had not made good in life and was actually a pauper.Sudama did not ask for or expect any favours from Krishna.Being selfless he could tell Krishna a thing or two where he felt the latter was obviously wrong.

Not that I do not like gf but then despite all protestatins the expectation is different.(I do not say it is unfriendly)

i recommend girls as a friend. Cuz if u r a guy u no how most r. Sumtimes u r in a mood for back stabbing ppl a guy tells u a secret u tell sumone else. Then if ur going for the same girl. There is rivalry. Your best friend is a girl. MAKE IT STAY THAT WAY. Or get intimate and marry the girl after a while.

Well I am a female in her mid 20's and have always perfered male friends. I like to rough house and can laugh at just about anything sick joke they throw my way. My husband is my best friend and I love to hang out around the bon fire with him and the guys. I hope he doesn't mind to much. :)

I have both guys and girls as friends and it depends on the situation for me.. if you want to hear the truth go to a guy friend.. they don't sugarcoat anything to try and make you feel better and it can be refreshing. Girls understand the weird way other girls think though and that makes it fun to talk to other girls when you need advice or help.

The brain is a highly flexible organ, and develops as the environment demands of it. Earlier, women were slightly blunt and little good logically, since they were brought up that way. Now they're proving stereotypes wrong. Ultimately, what I believe, is that sex or sexual orientations have nothing to do with the intelligence or abilities of the person, and everyone comes under the same label - humans. People individually turn out good or bad, smart or dumb, but no fixed avg can be made for a single sex.

I prefer girls, i am more comfortable with them and i can tell them everything and not worry about other boundaries, but sometimes, you may find a friend from the opposite gender that meets certain views and ideas that you hold dear to yr heart.

As for who is smarter or wiser, it has nothing to do with gender, however, men tend to be more mind oriented while females like to deal with things on an emotional level, which doesn't mean that is either is wrong or right, that is just how things are.
