I always suffer from insomnia so I have all the time in the world to think about everything and anything. I try creating stories in my head too, and sometimes if I fall asleep in the middle it's continued in my dreams!

The most persistent thought that I have every night as I toss and turn in bed is damn, it's 2:00 and I'm still awake .... it's still 2:30 and I'm still awake ... it's till 3:00 and I'm still awake ...
I think you got the idea!

To keep myself from fretting over mundane things I have no control over, I create "movies" in my head, of which I'm the star! My stories have a beginning, a middle and an ending...that's if I don't fall asleep first. I have trouble falling asleep most nights, so this is a good trick for me. It just helps me to focus on ONE train of thought, rather than a scattered collage of "things I have to do tomorrow." If I do fall asleep before my movie is over, then I pick up where I left off on the following night. It's fun!

Most of the times I dont think at all. I am as Ahmed....I try to relax and close my mind to any thoughts.
Sometimes if I have something important to do the next day...I think about it.
but that rarelly happens anyways.

I usually think about the day...how things went, what I accomplished. That sort of thing. Also what is in store for tomorrow.
But generally, what I think of the most is my friends & family..my husband, my children, my parents, my sister, my nieces and nephew...especially the ones that I am not with and am missing the most.
