What do you think of the expression: "A man's honour lies between the legs of a woman"?

I think this expression applies in most of the arabic countries.
where a girl is killed by her father and brothers if she had sex, or got preg.
killed by her husband & father & brothers if she cheats on her husband.
so I think this expression is bull.
its the woman's body, her life, and decisions.

Wow...if that is what it means, then I think that expression is full of crap. I have heard of "honor killings" and it makes me absolutely sick to think that people could do such things. We are all human, imperfect and make mistakes.

I would more agree with: "A man's honor is sometimes found in his pants"
and : "What's left of woman's honor is between her legs"

But now, that I think more of it.... I do agree with that expression, and this is why - Nothing makes a man more humiliated and dishonored then when his wife cheats on him. So, that expression does make perfect sense.
