It makes me think of the brave Israelis having to defend themselves against tyrannical Arab regimes and Arab terrorists trying to destroy the single Jewish state.
And it makes me think of the ideology of certain answerers on Yahoo Answers, who do the following:
1. They deny Israel the right to exist, either explicitly or implicitly by denying it the right to defend itself against aggression.
2. They legitimize the advocacy of Israel's destruction on the ground of "pluralism of opinions" or the like.
3. They single out the Jewish people as the only people in the world who have no right to self-determination.
4. They subject Israel to vastly different and higher human rights and warfare standards than other countries -- notably, its Arab neighbors.
5. Despite all the disclaimers, they use the words Israel, Jews, and Zionists interchangeably. To all those who say that Muslim extremists hate only Israel and not Jews, I have two words for you: Daniel Pearl.
6. They bundle up with claims of worldwide Jewish conspiracy and calls for restricting the access by Jews to education and jobs.
7. They present the Holocaust and the history of persecution against the Jews as their own justification -- i.e., if the Jews were treated so badly, they must have deserved it.
Almost two million children died in the Holocaust -- what did they ever do to you? Perhaps the religious fundamentalists spewing this idea should ask themselves why THEY are hated so much.
So that is what I sometimes think of when I see the Israel flag.
Other times I think of the greatness of the Jewish People, their Torah and their land.
And of the great love for Israel expressed by many Christians, who identify themselves as Christian Zionists.

My heart and head swell with pride. I think of the blood lost in the wars and the fight it took to get that flag to fly over a country of our own. I think about the Magen David and feel proud to be Jewish.
When I see it being burned it angers me beyond belief. |

I see the baby of the Western countries that Israelis have built into a successful and vibrant place in 60 short years.
I see everything the Western way of life is about represented by the Israeli flag, freedom, enlightenment, choice, evolution. |

If Israel has the right to have a flag so dose Palestine.
If Israel has the right to exist so dose Palestine.
If Israel has the right to self-defense so do the Palestinians. |

I think of Bible prophecy fulfilled. Never in history has a nation of people been in exile for so long and returned home! I think of miracles and of God the Father and a people that He so loves. And I think of a lineage of people who are the ancestors of my Beloved Precious Savior!! God will bless those who bless her and curse those who curse her. |

I Have mixed emotions; On one hand there is great joy, because The Israeli flag to the Christan is what the Rainbow is to the world. Kept promises, from God.
On the other hand, i am ashamed like when your parents do something you know to be wrong.
I feel Israel should of dealt with the Palestinians the way Abraham dealt with Lot. Genesis 13:5-9 (The blessing follow the people not the land).
But when it comes down to it whether their right or wrong i am an adopted Son grafted in. Romans 11:17 and accountable to how i treat my Jewish brethren. However, some have used that to think they can then treat other people, anyway they like.
But i would put it to Christians in particular, that, if we know how to bless the Jews, then shouldn't that be the minimum standard we adopt for everyone else?
Finally The bible and History is clear. You cannot curse what God has Blessed. Genesis 12:3 |

I think of the 2000-year hope of a scattered and oppressed people to, once agan, return home.
I think of a people which has tried so hard to leave in peace amongst neighbors hellbent on her destruction.
I think of a nation which boasts more doctors, scientists, and engineers per capita than any other nation on the planet.
I think of a country which has been condemned by the rest of the world, simply for trying to exist. |

When I see Israeli flag it reminds me a story…. Once upon a time there lived a kind man who comes forward to help any known or unknown people in their problems. Once an unknown man was crying out side his home. He rushed to the man and asked his problem. The unknown man told him that, the weather is very bad and he doesn’t have any home to stay.
The kind hearted man told the unknown man that “You are my Brother in Humanity.” Don’t worries you can stay with me like my brother. So now the unknown person was living with him.
But suddenly one morning The unknown man kicked the kind hearted man out of his own home and locked the door. The kind hearted man was crying out side his home “Open the Door!!…Open the Door!!….. He kicked me out of my Home…..”. When neighbors and the police come to that place… The unknown man was telling all of them that, “This man is a Terrorist”. Arrest him.
Similarly, When Israeli didn’t have any land and millions of them were burn by Hitler of Germany… PALESTINIANS told that “You are my Brother in Humanity.” Come live with us.
But Now Israel is kicking the Palestinians out of their home. When Palestinians fighting for their land… Israel calling them TERRORIST. |

This land is mine
God gave this land to me
This brave and ancient land to me
And when the morning sun
Reveals her hills and plains
Then I see a land
where children can run free.
So take my hand
And walk this land with me
And walk this lovely land with me
Tho' I am just a man
When you are by my side
With the help of God
I know I can be strong.
So take my hand
And walk this land with me
And walk this golden land with me.
Tho' I am just a man
When you are by my side
With the help of God
I know I can be strong.
To make this land our home
If I must fight
I'll fight to make this land our own.
Until I die this land is mine!
Good Luck!!! |

When I see the Israeli flag I think that it's a shame that they got that far with the help of the U.S. government. When I think of Israel I think of Nazis and see similarities both use ethnic-cleansing the only difference is that one lasted 10 years the other lasted 60 years. I think they are a shame to the jewish religion, I even personally know good jews who are against Israel.
Some people think it is alright to persecute but not alright to be persecuted, this concept is against all religious teachings.
1) Israel is illegally occuppying the land of the Palestinians, you can not defend yourself when you illegally occuppying someone else's land
2) No one paid for the massacre at Sabra and Shatila and the massacre at Jenin and Nablus. In fact no one has paid for any crime committed against the Palestinians.
3) Israel is demolishing the home of Palestinians, they kill children and babies, they prevent them from seeking medical care, they cutt of the electricity, deprive them of food and clean water, use them as human shields, keep children as young as 12 in Israeli prison. These children are allowed to see their parents once in a while but are not allowed to talk to them. Palestinians are tortured in Israeli prison. What more do I need to say. Those who defend Israel either don't know what is happening or they are supporting a country that violates humanitarian laws. Israel has also killed human rights activists. One American human rights activist Rachel Corrie was run over by Israeli bull dozer. |

I think my answer would be deleted if I spoke from the heart. So let me say this.
Barbarians. Uncouth, undeserving, uneducated, lowlife scum.
I should add a few other points but then it would be more a list of crimes, so I will stop here. |
