What does "love" mean to you?

Something undescribeable.
I think I've only been there once, but here were some of the symptoms:
You think about them every waking second (once you wake up and the moment you go to bed), you have dreams about them, you send them texts at random hours of the day, you get phone calls at 3am from them, you're always around and wanting to talk to them, you argue with them more times than you can think of, when you have a huge argument and you're not talking..you can't seem to eat, your whole world revolves around them it seems, you're always talking about them to friends and family, you can see yourself marrying them in all reality, you'd be willing to die for them, you want to have kids with them because you think of kids as a living body of love that you two created, and when you end it all..you still have love FOR them and it never goes away no matter what their life choice is and who they end up with...and somehow, they are always willing to still talk to you..as if they feel the same..
Love is intense and scary.
I hope to fall in love again but I hope the next time I do, we'll actually get married.

Its painful and unappreciated by me. I wish i dont love her, but thats sadly not up to me. It has caused me more pain than joy, but when it gave me joy, the joy was much more powerful than any other joy.

Love means caring for someone even though he is old and gray; even though he can not love me back; doing things for him without expecting something in return. Then one day you get a surprise that you think you do not even deserve. He is having a good day, and is helping around the house, and he brings flowers to me. When receiving a gift from someone you love, you don't think; "Hey, it's about time". You just accept it gracefully and gratefully and go on about your business of loving that person that needs you so much. You remember all the good times when we were young and carefree, and that helps us through the sad and bad times. Love means never having to say you're sorry. When you catch yourself thinking of that one certain person for no apparent reason at the most inopportune time, that's love. Love is finishing each others sentences, and knowing what they mean when no one else does.
