Moonrise

she must have been a smoker when she decded to get veiled .
smoking in allowed places and being veiled are matters of personal choice .
who am i to judge her ? |

I feel it is none of my business...(nice answer moonrise..)
my friends grandmother 87 years old, prayed 5 times a day since she was young, veiled lady all of her life- she raised 4 boys, 2 daughters but used to pretend that she couldnt go to the toliet with out smoking- 70 years of that hiding..i would rather she was free do live her life how she wanted to, with six kids...id need to do more than smoke..6 kids would drive me nuts.. |

I feel pity and anger. Pity for the woman who allows herself to be veiled, and anger for the man who is walking free but pitting a fellow human being in bondage. As for the smoking, I think she is trying, pretending to have some kind of freedom .....of choice. |

I agree with moonrise and AA,
But for my feelings, I will just feel as I'm looking to a picture with alot of contradictions, that's all, but she has the right to do whatever she want , as she is not hurting anyone, |

It does not bother me that she is smoking,Just wearing a veil. |

I feel bad to see anyone smoking, as being a health professional I see the bad things that happen due to cigarette smoking.
I once went to my uncles lab (he was a pathologist), he showed me smokers lungs - they were black with tar and disgusting. That is what I picture every time I see someone light up a cigarette - it does not matter if it is a woman or man, veil or no veil...the result is the same.
I wish cigarette smoking was not a trend leading to addiction...it is a disgusting and detrimental habit. |

The same when i see a man smoking.
It has no difference if she's veiled or not. Its only coz smoking is Haram in Islam. |

i feel disgusted. sorry, just really looks so bad and law |
|

P.S.
|
i don't like to see any veiled women, except in a wedding. If the veiled woman is veiled because of the disgusting religion that she's a part of, it should be outlawed.
The smoking part is quite irrelevant when you consider how horrible she's been treated and beaten her entire life. |
