Many people say that people can know how you truly are the first 5 minutes they meet you. First impressions, as you call it. It's true sometimes- you reveal your true self unaware.
Other times, it takes some time before people can actually know who and how you are.
It depends on how you are and how observant they are.

The first impression people get of me is that I am open and friendly and they do not usually change their minds about it because that is the way I am. Unless I see that they are not such nice people as I first thought they were and just ignore them, they will change their mind towards me (it has happened before) for sure.
I used to believe very strongly in: "first impressions are always right". but honestly have changed my opinion about it and I am more careful with these "first impressions" now.
By the way, I have 2 new Au friends in the Net, so far so good and that totals 5 Au friends. I think your country fellows have proved their first impression of me right and I have proved theirs too, thank God ... |

My first impression is usually not very good, its not my looks but the personality.... as most people will think that i am a very serious and a shrewed man; but once they know me then it all changes, then they realize that apart from good looks, I am casual, funny and reliable.
I have made a very few friends in my life and the ones that I made are then there for ever. If you want to judge a person then see how many old friends he or she have. If some one is bad then he can make only new friends as the old one would have left him by now.
After reading your Q & A's, I am sure you must be a very rich person in real life too by having so many old and new friends. |
